After reading others reviews on the Hampton Bay cabinets, I was a bit leery to order them. The first cabinet I ordered had a hole through the back that looked like someone drove a golf ball through it. The store ordered another one right then and there. The replacement came in (took six days to get the original order, but twelve to get the reorder?), and it was worse than the first one. Damaged in four places. Unfortunately I had a project I was working on and the timeline did not allow for me to wait twelve more days for a third cabinet, so I used the second cabinet and repaired it. The cabinets are ok for the money, but the quality control is a minus five. If Hampton Bay spent five more dollars on quality cardboard to protect the cabinets better, they would be way ahead of the game. The old saying "You get what you pay for," is spot on with these cabinets. I did say I would recommend them, but only if they are not damaged.

A finish that will hold up well in the laundry room.

Big manufacturing problem. These cabinets are poorly made. Other cabinets have visible staples, and other problems I apparently cant talk about in this 5th review I've re submitted. This particular cabinet literally falling apart. Invest the extra money in real wood cabinets. I would not repurchase these again.

These cabinets are great. I was a little hesitant to order them after the mixed reviews. They all arrived undamaged and well-made.

Cabinets are very nice in color and appearance but, far too delicate. More than half came with mashed in edges, mostly where the tie was. The fronts are also too delicate. We had to remove glue from some areas, The good thing about them is that you can return them and design by trial and error easily since they are a stock item. I guess they will last a few months but, far less than I had hoped before having to do it all over again. Just not a lasting product.

Solid and well-built. Fronts of cabinets are not perfect as you can see some rough spots or wood imperfections. It's hard to see because the product is tightly wrapped and strapped in cardboard. Once you get home - you may find yourself wishing you could have checked the quality of the fronts before purchasing. It served my purpose well for the laundry room, but definitely not for a mid-range kitchen.

These cabinets are so beautiful. They were perfect, handled with care and delivered in a very timely manner.

Perfect cabinets for our new laundry room. One over washer and one over the dryer! They are great looking and easy to install. What a simple way to add storage and enhance our new utility area. I would purchase again and recommend these beautiful heavy duty cabinets.

The Hampton Bay assembled cabinets are low-medium quality cabinets. They aren't expensive compared to other cabinet types and the finish is usually not perfect with visible imperfections, blemishes and nicks. While Home Depot will exchange them with no pushback, the exchange process can significantly delay the completion of a project. 3 out of 5 cabinets that I ordered with damaged upon delivery and i had to exchange them. This ultimately delayed my project by 1 month.

Excellent quality and finish.

I ordered 4 and found they had inconsistent quality. ( Some blemishes and some unsanded edges). These are perfect for the garage storage but I wouldn’t put them in a kitchen.
