Used this as a bathroom cabinet. Space in my wall was perfect for the depth and width. Love the door, just wish it had soft close gingers, but will upgrade. Finish on it was nice too.

Hit and Miss
You get what you pay for I guess. I was first delivered the wrong size. The second order was the correct size, but one of the 2 cabinets was damaged and misaligned. We couldn't tell until we opened the package at home. After the hassle of having to reorder (and waiting 29 minutes at curbside pickup), my husband didn't want to take it back. Since it's going in my laundry closet, I let it go. For the price, it's a decent value. I wouldn't recommend them for a kitchen, though.

    Do NOT buy these! We ordered our entire kitchen in Jan. 2024, it arrived *8 weeks late! Company admitted it LOST entire order! During installation we saw many brackets out of alignment, 3 doors won’t close & several gaps between doors. Poor quality workmanship! Some hinges only adjust up & down.

      The cabinet overall is quality, but the finished face of the cabinet had wear marks from the outer packaging straps. This is unfortunate because the finish is hard to repair due to the inability to paint this type of finished cabinet.

      Special order was damaged
      installer picked up the spec. order cabinets, brought them to my house …opened the box & started installing, and I saw that both of them had damage. Both .!!! marks , dents and scratches. What was I gonna do? I would’ve had to stop everything -still pay the installer (because he was there )get nothing done & wait 2 more weeks. So instead, I installed and I’m somewhat annoyed indefinitely Until I forget about it … Yes, the hinges look good. They are lined up.(2) 36 in high -12 in deep “pantry”

        Terrible workmanship
        With two sons as contractors, and I have built custom furniture for years, these cabinets are horrible. The image shows how bad the wood was messed up on receipt. Sadly, my contractor flew in from 1300 miles away to install so we were stuck having to use what we received. I will NEVER order cabinets from Home Depot again. My son used his Pro account to order for this job and spends a TON of money there. He is even considering going elsewhere due to poor quality and customer service.

          Well built cabinets
          I wanted to add a pantry to a "no man's land" in my kitchen but didn't want to go 24" deep. I ended up buying two of these 42" cabinets and stacking them for a tall pantry. They are well built and square! They stacked easily with a small trim piece on the seam to make it look like one cabinet, I will add a toe kick to cover the 2x4 base once I replace the flooring. The cabinets were packaged very well with no damage. I would highy reccomend these cabinets.

            This is crap. Back section has crack. Door frame has crack. Holes don’t line up for shelf. Only revived one shelf when should have been 2. I had to return the pantry earlier because it was so broken like the sides blew out from the back

            very cheaply made
            These cabinets are made from 3/8” particle board and secured with 1/2 staples. Even with a 2x2 supporting the bottom of this cabinet and with only books and papers inside, the staples pulled right out of the back and the whole thing fell apart. Just really terribly built

              damaged upon arrival.
              The delivery guy was throwing the cabinets around. He said he only had one more delivery wanted to get done. He was throwing the cabinets around in the box truck. One was laying on its side in the truck as if it had fallen in tranport. Nothing was anchored down or secured. Very dispapointed with delivery. I will be picking up future orders.

                  Hickory Sticks!
                  We love the look of all of the pre-finished hickory Hampton Bay cabinets! Our upstairs kitchen has them and as we remodeled downstairs to add a second kitchen - that's what we opted for, once again! They look good - modern and with great hardware. Added value for the $$.

                  Negative reviews are warranted……
                  I wished I purchased the unfinished in-stock cabinets, the quality is superior to these low quality cabinets. I purchased these cabinets to build a built in hutch/bookcase for my granddaughter’s bedroom. I used wall cabinets mounted to a floor frame so I shouldn’t have the fallen cabinet problem, however, seen the quality of these cabinets. I can see how they’re falling off consumers walls. I would not recommend these cabinets for a kitchen being used daily.

                    Not heat resistant.
                    Shortly after installing the paint/latex started peeling. Off the two cabinets that are next to the stove. I contacted woodwork for warranty, rep said they do not cover heat damage. Out of courtesy they offered to send me just the doors to replace. Got the doors but they were used, holes for cabinet hardware were already extended/chipped clear sign they were used, bottom corner of the door was damaged. Which sucks because i just remodeled my kitchen with these cabinets, so if i can save someone this headache.

                      Defective product
                      One of the cabinets shipped was defective. The factory did not use glue and the staples were not properly centered. After attaching to the wall, and adding the doors, the weight of the doors caused the joints to separate, all on their own. We could not afford to wait for a replacement with our contractor standing by, so he remedied these defects at our expense to remove, fix, and reinstall this cabinet. I have asked Home Depot for a full refund for this item and will update my review accordingly.
