Perfect shop fan for less than $100.

Great fan, that moves a lot of air and was perfectly balanced right out of the box.
In following the guidance in the HD tutorial video, I added a 24 inch down rod. Unfortunately this made the wires and safety cable just a bit too short.

This fan was very easy to install. We are enjoying the four speeds. The air movement is perfect for the intended area. We wanted a simple fan for our kitchen and in the living room, each having 11’ ceilings. I recommend this fan for someone considering it!

No switch

Installed the fan and very pleased with air flow and quietness. The directional switch is supposed to be under the hood. It is not. Needed to alter the wiring connections to get the reverse. Will probable need to install a switch myself. Not good.
I love the fan. It is quite and has great airflow. Only downside is the fan controller is junk.
