I was so happy that I can buy the vanes with out purchasing the entire set of vertical louvers. The colors to chose from was limited but I did find one the fit my decor. Also I needed them for a window and so they were ones that can be cut. I store attended was really nice and cut them for me. They are a little thinner then the ones I took off but they still open and close with not issues.

But these "off the shelf" blinds have a very strong chemical smell. I have left the sliding door open and ceiling fan running for much of 4 days and they still stink up the entire room with a STRONG smell. What can be done to eliminate or remove the smell? I like them otherwise, but will throw them out and buy something different if the smell does not improve within a week.

They were not what I thought they were. I thought they would be fabric.

I'm very happy with the Hampton Bay Vertical Louvers. They were easy to install and look beautiful. Replaced plain white verticals that came with the apartment. The price was great and I saved so much by doing my own. No track to install. They fit perfect into the one that I already had. I will be ordering more for bedroom and dining room windows. Downside, I wish that there were more colors to choose from. Would recommend, especially if you are on a budget and would like to change your window treatments.

The blinds were perfect fit for my door. They help with blocking the sun. I know they will help with the heating bill this winter. Plus I don't have a blah white space. The color is beautiful

There is a really bad smell coming from the blinds. We bought the custom blinds that were cut for us, and we may have to return them this weekend. This is just not okay.

The blinds are not falling flat. . They are garped at the lower end

The mechanical system to open and close the blinds seems very rough and not very durable

These gray vertical blinds look fantastic! I had white before and this really improved look of room. Nice texture too.
