Great garden lights...
I bought four of these lights for a back yard garden beyond the edge of our lawn, about thirty-five feet from our house... They give out a very bright light that is perfect for that application... They are listed as a "walkway light", but IMO they are a bit on the bright side for a walkway... I've been very impressed with all the Hampton Bay low-voltage landscape lights I've purchased, and these are no exception... They're well made, easy to assemble/install, leave you a nice long "pigtail", and have great connectors that are easy to work with...

Great Lights
Just make sure you get the right transformer for these. We were given the wrong information by the lighting guy. No biggie, we brought it back got the bigger one and even added more lights by running a line out to the front of house. On a timer so we set it and don't worry about it. I don't even have to turn on our outside light to let the dog out at night, (I totally recommend these, hubs had them up and running in two days.)

love them
We already had some low voltage lighting in the front of our house, and wanted to add a few more units on the side of the house. This unit is an almost perfect match for those, and since we had enough wire available we did not have to purchase an additional transformer to run them. We really like the light given off by these units, much brighter than the solar units.

Have lite up not only my yard with path lighting and spot lights but the neighbors also
I have zeroscaping in my front yard. I had bought solar lighting at first and did not like that it was not that bright and did not stay on very long depending on the sun from the day before or if there are trees in the way. I have put in the low voltage lighting in and have been running the lights for about 10 hours a night and was a little concerned about the cost of my electric bill but, to my surprise the cost was just a few dollars more. I highly recommend low voltage lighting. I live on Vaquero Circle if you would like to take a look.

Very nice!
These lights were easy to assemble, taking about 60 seconds. Once assembled, I was able to use them as replacements for some old plastic body, incandescent lights. I just had to loosen the soil, pull the old light and wire up, disconnect the old light and squeeze the new lights' connector on. I think I spent less than 45 minutes total replacing 10 lights, The old lights were 4W halogens and I do not know their lumen rating. These new lights blow them away. They are so might brighter and radiate their light over a greater distance, approximately 8-10' in diameter. The body of the light appears to be well made. The were a sufficient gauge of steel that they will not easily bend. The paint appears to be baked on. Overall, I am very please with the purchase. The only thing that would have made them better would have been a lower price. Oh well, I guess you get what you pay for,
