Got everything hooked up and as soon as I turned on the fan, it rotated once and got stuck. I manually spun the fan and it rotated but made an awful noise where it was stuck before. Quality control totally missed this. Will take it back and try again.

Beautiful fan….. but screws are preset in blades going the wrong way, leaving no choice but to put the blades upside down. Wrong side is gray.

This fan is a great deal. The newly designed method of installing the fan blades is a good one!! Almost all the the instructions are clear and simple. It was only a little confusing when dealing with a few steps but overall it was good. I would definitely buy again if I need one.

23 Years ago wife and I purchased seven Hampton Bay Ceiling fans with Light kits from the Depot. Never regretted the purchase; always looked good and worked well w/o any maintenance!!!! Very Happy !!! Interior fans still look fantastic !!!! Last Saturday w decided to change out the one outdoor fan. (We live in central Florida !!) Humidity caused the blades to droop. So we decided since we were happy with Hampton Bay fans we would purchase another. Biggest mistake of our lives!! Horrible craftsmanship, wire cavities to small and lots of very cheap and tiny hardware !!! Nightmare to install. Never again!!!! Hampton Bay, if you are reading this, very inferior product !!!!! Not the same quality as the older ones.

one of the two light bulbs didn't work, took it to the store where they exchange it .

Very nice looking on my patio. I have the gray textured side of the blades facing down to add a bit of color.

It will probably be fine. I'll wait until next spring to install it.

This fan exceeds all expectation: stable, quiet and easy to install. I replaced an orginal Hunter antique fan which was always wobbly and noisy with this fan. I can’t say enough about how good this fan runs and appears. Looks and works great and for the price it can’t be beat.

In my opinion, this fan works as advertised and to my satisfaction.

Overall easy installation, mounting plate was large and tricky to get wire nutted wires along the side and safely in place.
