Thank you for your question. Please allow the fan to run for 24 hours to allow the fan to settle. If the issue persists, please make sure that all parts are properly installed and completely tightened - including the outlet box. Most noise issues can be attributed to loose parts that can cause vibration and present a humming noise. If that does not resolve the issue, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and one of the team members will be able to get more information to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

I ordered the flat white fan and received a polished nickel. I had already purchased and installed flat white with light kit from my local store but needed on without the light kit. I went back to the website but now they had no more flat white fans.
I returned the polished nickel fan to my local store and purchased another flat white fan & paid the extra $40 for a lightkit I don’t need. Some how my order was changed from white to nickel. I did send my comments when I when I completed a return request on line. I received no response and apparently wasted my time as I may be doing again.

Sorry to hear that you had this issue. I think this is posted on the wrong product. The ceiling fan does not include a light kit however it is light kit adaptable.

Not exactly what i ordered
I ordered 2 black ceiling fans. However, when I received my order, the blades were a hunter green! THIS NOT WHAT I ORDERED! Luckily, the fans blend in with the colors on our porch

We are happy other that the fan blends with your porch. As stated in the product description, the blades have a painted maple finish, not black blades.
