They are easy to hang up and they light my patio amazing

I bought 2 sets of these lights, and each had 2 bulbs that were had warped tread, and wouldn't screw in properly. For only 10 lights per string, 20% of each was not working. This is not at all acceptable with any product.

So far , so good! They look nice hanging up on my front deck!

The lights look very nice and give off ample lighting. However, the boxes came with dead bulbs and broken bulbs. Will have to go exchange at some point.

This is a nice string light set, in a shorter (11 foot) length, with exceptions: First the good: available in a shorter length, for smaller areas. The metal shades are good looking, with a robust feel. They say the set is water resistant. (I am using my set indoors.) This might be a good set if your plug in is in the ceiling, near where the lights will be hung. Now the drawbacks: The plug in cord length is only about a foot beyond the last light. An extension cord will most likely be needed. The bulbs: They say only that they are G40 bulbs. What they don't tell you: 7 watt G40 bulb, with small base. Home Depot does not sell the exact replacement bulbs for this set. I found some on the web, but they want to sell you a large pack, of 20, or 25 bulbs; and watch the wattage! Workaround available: you can buy 7 watt night light bulbs, in a 4 pack, at Home Depot. they look light a clear Christmas bulb. Not the same bulb, but they will work. an extra tip: these lights look really nice if you plug the string into a dimmer, and tone them down. I had two bulbs that were crooked on the base, and did not want to screw in to the socket. No spares provided in the box. I called Hampton Bay customer service, and they did have a friendly, and polite Rep. to answer the call; but they do not have any replacement bulbs available. You can return a defective product for an exchange, or a refund.

Lights worked as expected. Bright enough to light up the area.

A bit bright but look great and make a nice look rather than edison lights.

A little shorter than we anticipated, but 2 strings worked great.
