The fan is beautiful, quiet, and arrived quickly and undamaged. Unfortunately, the remote arrived separately, after I had the fan installed, and I’ve not added that yet, so I don’t know whether it will “play nice” with Alexa. If it does, five stars!

I bought this fan because of the Alexa feature. The fan itself is amazing but when I try to connect to the bond app to use Alexa it keeps telling me that my private personal router is unsecured and will not connect. I am disappointed because that feature was the only reason I chose this fan. I basically bought a fan with a universal remote.

Looked at this fan online and purchased 5 for apartments. very happy with overall ease of install, looks and use. Would buy again. Adding the remote was even better.

The remote for this product is absolute garbage. It needs a cradle. The magnet doesn't stay on well if anyone is passing through the room. And guess what, the remote breaks after it falls 10 times. makes turning on/off fans/lights less convenient when you have to have your phone in your hand. Otherwise, the fan visually looks nice.

The mount for the fan blades is off to one side and not level with the motor housing, Found this while installing. With the mount of the fan blades off by 1/8in. You do the math on how far out the blades would be out at 52in. One side will be much higher than the other. I purchased a 2nd fan thinking the first was just defective, Wrong, Hampton bay has a problem. Others have had a balance problem, now we know why. I am taking the 2nd one back also.

Keeps room cool

Great fan! Very sturdy and it looks clean and modern. Overall not too hectic to install ourselves with our very basic knowledge of electrical work. Loving the smart fam feature with our google home system!

The fan is just as expected and the bond connection is great. Alexa pairs easily and controlling the fan is super easy and convenient. We were able to go from a fan with only on/off to a adjustable level setting.

Easy install. Only issue one of the Edison bulbs acts odd. Dimming out and shutting off for short periods of time. Odd assume it will go away with bulb change

SO EASY TO INSTALL

Love this simple yet stylish ceiling fan! It worked out perfectly!

First the negative.... it rattles. We turn it on at night, and it runs fine for the hour or so it takes to actually go to sleep. When we wake it is rattling and buzzing. The instructions say to ignore this, it will go away after a couple days. 3 weeks in and not gone. Will be adding screws in the near future to see if it can be eliminated. The positive... Moves a good amount of air. The remote works well. The Google control works seamlessly. Wife likes the way it looks. Recommend if you can live with or eliminate the rattling.

I am returning the fan. My electrician was able to fix my current fan so this one is not needed.
