This is a nice looking light for a low end fixture. Note that it mounts close to the wall, so if you need something to extend over a cabinet you would need a different lamp. This one would be fine for a plain mirror mount.This fixture uses Candelabra: E12 (diameter of 12 mm) lights - not provided. I have used LED versions of these lights in other fixtures and they are pretty nice. Overall, not a bad fixture. I think you could mount this fixture either way, although the show it with the bulbs facing up.

The Home Decorators Collection Bovoni 2-Light Polished Nickel Wall Mounted Light is a very pretty light fixture. The polished nickel is very shiny like chrome and the two frosted, stepped level, beehive glass shade reminds me of something that I would find in a 1920's art deco dressing salon. The metal seems a bit flimsy but once it's securely mounted on the wall, it shouldn't be an issue. Everything that you need for installation is included and the fixture CAN be installed with the shades facing up or down. One MAJOR thing that I want to point out is the size of this light fixture.. At a scant 10.5 inches long by 5.25 inches high, this little guy isn't necessarily going to be a focal point in a room. I am using them as hallway sconces or maybe two of them flanking a bathroom mirror but please do keep the scale in mind when selecting these. They are wall hugging so they're not meant to extend away from the wall. Also, the bulb base is the E12 so choose your bulb accordingly.

This fixture is your typical light fixture installation. This light can be installed with the lights facing upward as shown on the Home Depot web site or facing downward. This is also a good alternative for replacing lighting in other rooms or areas of the house too.

Hampton Bay Bovoni 2 light Polished nickel wall vanity light, Great light doesn't have to be used for a bathroom vanity We used ours on a stairway landing wall with 2 dimmerable LED light bulbs so we can dim the lights to use as a night light when guest spend the night, we also installed one in our hallway facing down not up like in the photo also with dimmerable LED light bulbs, Nice contemporary look, well made, heavy frosted glass light bulb covers.

Decided to put this one up in our office. Had to run a wire down the wall so it took a little longer to install. The kit comes with really good instructions and was boxed very nicely to protect all the glass. There were no scratches on it so I was impressed with packaging. From unpacking to finishing it took me about one hour to install not including the time it took to run wire down the wall. Nice light!

Cheaply built in China, flimsy, the sockets and light fixtures are not square to the frame.

doesn't stick out from the wall far enough over medicine cabinet. thus eliminating much of its lighting potential.
