Great shelves and look fantastic.

I bought three of these for a recessed area that is 42 inches wide. Online the width clearly states that these are 42 inch shelves but when I got them home I realized they are actually 41.5 inches and that won’t work. What a waste of time. Measurements are very important when it comes to home improvement and this is a HD exclusive. Just saying.

As expected. Easy to install and quality was good

Similar to other reviews... I bought two of these and they are both missing the set screws. Not able to finish assembly. Wish I would have read the reviews in detail...

The shelf and mounting bracket are fine. If you are going to buy this, I strongly recommend buying anchors separately. The anchors that come with this shelf are disrespectful. The template for drilling the holes for the anchors had an extra hole that is not required.

I ordered three shelves and had them delivered, all “ looked” the same. Used the same template for drilling the holes in the studs. First and second no problem! Last one the anchor was changed and not one hole matched!!!!!!!! If the product is changed, change the packaging so I know!!

What's the point of a floating shelf if you then have to add corbels or L-brackets to keep them square and hold any items? Tried to use for light duty shelves in a playroom to hold less than 10lbs. Do not attempt to use in a kitchen!

Needed 42" width. HomeDepot online says 42". The Label on box says "actual size 41.5"" ok that will fit in - get home actual measured width is 42.25" (?) too large and now I have a damaged wall from thinking it would fit in. Urgh frustrating.

I like it look as good, easy install

These are laminated shelves, one came with a bump in the laminate. They would work if you want something inexpensive. Just check them over before installing.

After mounting 3 shelves with the sheet rock anchors provided, not 1 anchor worked properly and all 3 shelves where loose. I took them down, went back to HD and got the white large dia spiral thread sheet anchors. I layed out the holes again on the wall a little to the left of old holes, and re-mounted with the new anchors, now the shelves are good. They look great. If you get these, buy the larger white spiral anchors as well, at least 4-5 anchors per shelf.

The metal back mount, which is what the shelf attaches to, is cheap crap!!! You can mount it level, but as soon as you slide the shelf onto the mounting bracket…it sags!!! Completely out of level to the point you’re worried anything you put on the shelf might slide off. I bought one and fought and bent after mounting to get close to level. There will not be a second shelf purchased.

This is the second one I have bought and both have had the same issue. On the right rod that is inserted into the shelf, the hole for the screw has been off center and when trying to screw it in, the material the shelf is made out of has ripped apart. Will not make the same mistake a third time.
