The blade material is stable. No warping, and in use for many years. Finish is still like new. Remote works well. It moves a lot of air in a 16x28 room.

We love this fan. This is our third purchase over ten years. The wooden blades make this fan really stand out! Purchased the light kit, also.

We are very happy with this fan. It's in our family room and looks great and functions well. Level 1 might seem like it's not doing much, but it does move the air enough to make the room comfortable. Level 2 is a nice level for most days. Haven't needed level 3, but when we tested it, you could feel the air moving when you stood 12' away. The electrician we used to install it thought it was a "cool" design and style. Something different than the usual. The room has a 9' ceiling and we decided to omit any downrod, so it is mounted closer to the ceiling (flush) than the picture shows. On very close inspection, one of the blades had a fine split in the wood - you really can't tell - the light just caught it at one point and I climbed up to check. I called the customer service number and they quickly sent a new blade for free.

Love this Fan! Yes it does move a lot of air. We added this under a Gazebo and it matched up great!!! I would buy this product again if I ever need to add another fan.

This is my second Altura fan and they are a excellent product. This is why I purchased this unit, we have had great use of the first one we installed about 6 years ago when we did our renovation. When you open the box you will see the quality and great look of this product, plus the ease of the installation. You can go online to see the installation video and the wiring is easy. I like the wood blades and of all the fans I have installed, the blade system is the best. I installed a light kit on this one but the one in the Great Room is a fan unit only because of the ceiling lights ( in my photos). They have several colors to choose from for any room. Gary

Excellent look and easy to install

I bought two of these one with the light kit. I love the look and they definitely move air and are quiet. the one with the light kit only lasted 2 years. it works when it wants to. I am looking for a new one but I really wanted both fans to match. Not sure I am going to that chance though.

The gilded express finish is very unique. It has a rustic and vintage look to it. If you want a longer down rod, you have to use a “new bronze” rod and faux paint it to give it that gilded appearance.

This is by far the best of the Home Decorator Series fans that we've owned. We've owned the 68-inch fan now for two years. It was replacing a 60-in Home Depot Hampton Bay fan. This new 68-inch distributes a vast amount of air flow that my wife can now feel. We loved it so much that we purchased a 56-inch Altura for my home office. Three days later, we purchased two 48-inch Altura ceiling fans for our back patio. Neither of them required a balancing kit! We are now exploring replacing a couple more of our home fans.

In the last 10 years I have moved to 5 different cities and in each home I have put this fan. It’s quiet and even on the lowest setting pushes a lot of air. I have had every size of this fan and they all work that way.

Excellent quality , great looking and extremely quiet and functional . Love this product so much that I purchased a second one ( much larger )for my living room . Would HIGHLY recommend this product !!! You will not be disappointed .

Bought 5, Love them. The blade shape and bolts look cool. And These are very quiet. Even on low speed.they move lots of air. Then again I have the largest size. They have about a 2 second delay at the switch. Larger room get a larger span fan. Def worth it for 10ft ceilings

I bought three of these plus one Altura light kit. They are quite a statement. Would have given this fan a 5, but there is no way to wire the Altura to work the fan and light off separate wall switches or fan/light combo switch...at least not according to my electrician and the way it is wired to work only with the Altura light kit which I will address in a separate review. (The plastic bowl was a disappointment given the price.) The fans are beautiful, are very quiet, stable, and put out plenty of air in a large open room (18'x30' with 10' ceilings using two fans), even on low. We keep it on medium and doubt we will ever use it on high.

Ordered product online and it came one day before promised. Easy install, nice looking and works great. Great addition to my sunroom. Great price for how fam preforms.

This is a great ceiling fan! It’s the perfect accent for every room. It’s quiet and works like a charm to keep our home comfortable. The remote control feature is very convenient!

I bought this particular model (online) because the fan is mounted 11' up and you can reverse it with the remote and not a toggle switch on the fan itself. I installed the first one last week but couldn't get it to power up so I returned and ordered a second one. After installing the second one it didn't seem to want to start up either. The instructions are vague but do say you can reprogram the remote. You need to hold the reverse button to reprogram the remote. Instructions say hold for 5 seconds but it took more like 30 seconds and it finally came on. The RPMs are very low on this thing. I am not sure if it is working correct or not. Other than that it is an awesome looking fan that matches my new patio cover perfectly. I may return for a 3rd one to see if I can get the fan to spin faster. Some of the reviews I read say it doesn't move enough air and others say just to opposite.

Beautiful design, easy to install, and great instructions, not only the written ones that came with the fan, but also the online installation video that was available. Have gotten many positive comments about the fan. Highly recommend!

Purchased two 56" fans which were just hung this week. They are very attractive & seem to be very quiet. Comes with a remote as well.

I bought this fan a few years back and now it makes an annoying squeaking sound.

This is the fourth we have bought. Three for our prior home in Hawaii and now one so far here in NC. These are just great reliable fans.

I read some of the bad reviews on this fan and was skeptical about getting it at first but loved the way it looked so after about a year, when I was ready to replace all my ceiling fans, I bought 2, one 56" and the other 60". I LOVE THEM as much as I thought I would. I also bought the lights to go with them. My neighbor/handyman put them up for me. They are warm and elegant looking. Reminds me of being somewhere in the Caribbean islands (I live on a lake).

We already have two of these fans and love them So when we built a new house we bought a few more to put in. The only negative feature is that they have remote control only - lose that and your out of luck (at least as far as I know, there must be some solution, we haven't lost one... yet).

I bought two of these fans 5 1/2 years ago. They still look and run great. They both run everyday here in Florida. I'm building a new home and I'm going to buy six in different sizes for the great room and the bedrooms. These have been the best fans I have ever purchased.

Loved this since I first saw it so I might have been jaded.Once installed I was suprised how much air it moved at a lower RPM. The agressive blade pitch doesnt require a fast spin. The light weight wood carved blades are nice. No wobble at all. I didn't attach a light kit but the required remote is set up to accomodate it. I also ordered the matching extension seperately as the stubby included one wouldn't suit my height needs.

This is the third Altura fan we purchased for our new home. We love the look and the curved fan blades really move some air! Installation was pretty easy, only needed to purchase a down rod as we have high ceilings.
