The fan design with its brushed nickel and coffee dark brown wood blades makes it look better than most models.

I just spent an hour moving our bed and then up on a ladder installing the replacement parts to get this fan working again. It's been dead now for 3 weeks. The new part still didn't solve the problem, and Hampton Bay isn't there on weekends. Replacement parts take 10 days to arrive here and fan season is rapidly ending in Colorado (we're back to a box fan currently). This fan looks nice, but it is a total piece of junk, complete and utter junk. When I get a hold of Hampton Bay on Monday I will be asking for a full refund and if I don't get it, I will be doing a credit card chargeback. In the strongest possible terms I warn you from buying this absolute piece of garbage. The attached picture is what you can expect your bedroom to look like and how you can expect to spend your weekends if you buy this fan.

Our second Altura fan, first one installed in 2017, still running great. Bought this slightly smaller one for the bedroom. Quiet and great remote for various speeds, short stem for over the bed.

Wooks and looks great

I liked the look of this fan and put 2 on different patios, but it doesn't move the air!!! I don't recommend it because I wanted a fan to cool!!

Noisy for a bedroom. Low level motor noise.

We have had this same model in our last home for 9 years. Dependable, attractive, fail-free, quiet, great quality. We bought this model again for our master bedroom in our new home.

This is the second Altima fan I have purchased. I have never found another ceiling fan that moves so much air at even the lowest speed. Very affective and looks great too.

So far the fan is working beautifully

I bought 2 of these in April of 2023. Since then, I've had to call Hampton Bay for 3 reciever replacements and they died completely. Now, they are both stuck on a single speed. We used to have a larger Altura in our living room that had the reciever die in that one as well. I would steer clear of these!

We purchased one of these fans several years ago and have absolutely loved it. It is quiet, slow moving, but puts out a ton of airflow. The new fan we just purchased is exactly the same (we wanted one for the office), BUT it is soooo LOUD. The fan makes a significant motor hum when turned on medium or high speed. When on medium, I can hear the hum over a TV. When on high, I can hear the hum across the house. It is disappointing because we love everything else about the fan.

Wish I could contact the company directly to brag but I cant so ill let yall know, I am replacing one of the 3 fans I bought 13 years ago and have ran continually since then except 2 times a year for 10 min when the cleaning blades. One has lost the low mode and has some bearing noise but the other two are silent and still work like new. GREAT PRODUCT

Fan and Light Kit are awesome. Don’t install on a “smart switch” or dimmer switch. It will buzzzzzzzz.

I don’t like the remote only option. The remote seems easy to break and I’m not finding an option to install a wall switch. The fan looks great and performs well though.

Only Altrura fans last fifteen years

We have these fans throughout our home. They work well and look great.

I purchased two fans with the Bond system, after only two and a half years both fans will not stay on and neither one will reverse or run at any speed other than very slow. I've tried removing them from the Bond control and used only the remote but the respond exactly the same, neither fan will run at medium or high speeds. I had an electrician replace the fan capacitor and it still failed to work properly. There doesn't seem to be any resources for trouble shooting either.

It’s not the most beautiful or stylish light kit, but it works well. I didn’t realize it had a dim feature, so that was a nice surprise. I really wish there were more style options for the Altura, but this’ll do for a home office. All in all, the quality is good and I’m satisfied with the purchase.

We have the smaller versions of these throughout our house with the pull-chains. We bought 2 of these for our patio as when they were on sale, they were cheaper than the smaller ones. Well, we've already had to have 3 new receivers sent to us in less than a year. Warranty support had been great, but when these fall out of warranty, I'm probably going to throw these in the trash and replace them when they inevitably die again.

Very quiet. Long blades so good air movement. I like having a remote. Love it.

I am not sure if I am satisfied yet because the electrician has not installed.

Needed to replace because it was making noise and shaking

After installation the unit had a slight scraping noise with the fan on. It went away after a couple of days. This is our third Alturas fan. Had not had any noises previously.
