This item was returned and exchanged for another fan.

The fan looks great. I like the light, which gives off more of a soft white rather than the brighter white. The fan is relatively easy to put together. Despite all of that, this warrants a three star review because the wiring is of poor quality. It's too easy to pull strands from the wire when stripping the wire. A better quality wire would help make install easier and ensure that the wiring was secure. Nevertheless, I bought five of these fans and installed them in all of my bedrooms.

Both fans we purchased had the same manufacturing defect - the blades would not fit into their slots. We returned the fans, after paying an experienced electrician for the aborted installation. We had to purchase Hampton Bay fans, then pay the electrician for a second trip. Obviously, we do not recommend.

Quiet when running and have a decent light

I purchased 2 of these fans for our sunroom, the first one went up fine and worked. Unfortunately during the install of the 2nd fan it was determined the fan did not spin, darn. I swapped out the light kit thinking that was the issue with the first fan and yup that was the issue, the light kit itself was the problem, called HD and they said pack it up and bring it back for a refund and reorder which is what I did, thankfully they did this at the store and gave me a small discount for the hassle.. About a week later the new fan came and again during the initial installation after making sure the fan spun I began to install the blades, the last blade unfortunately was not lining up with the screw holes so again BACK TO HD FOR A RETURN!!! Crazy! Another week later the new fan came in which thankfully worked but obviously the quality of this stuff is very suspect, hoping to get at least a few years out of them but who knows.

I had a handyman install this, so I can’t speak to ease of installation. But it is really high end looking when installed — sleek and modern. Very happy with this.

Very easy to install. The LED light is outstandingly bright. Very quiet operation and it looks good too. My wife loves it, and so do I.

Easy assembly, super quiet, looks great, bright light and works great with a dimmer.

Installed on front porch after the hot weather, so have not used much. However, I do like it and am sure will enjoy when hot weather returns.

Bought two of these reasonably priced "Wet Rated" fans for use on our rear covered deck. They installed rather easily and have worked great over the past couple of months. The bronze finish is very nice, but I don't know how the finish will hold up after harsh winter weather here in the Northeast. Only time will tell. We did have a problem with one part in one of the fan units, but the Home Decorators unit of Home Depot did a nice job handling that for us. The only slight negative about the fan is that the light is almost too bright at full strength. If you're picturing sitting out at night with a "soft" light coming from the fan, you'll have to adapt the wiring to accommodate a dimmer. But, the light works great if you're just looking for a ton of light for short periods of time.

Fan looks and works great!

The ceiling looks very nice but doesn’t move air well. It basically keeps the fly’s at bay but doesn’t blow enough air to cool our space. We have two installed on small back porch, can barely feel the air at all.

Easy instructions and no difficulties installing: have 2 on our porch and loving the look and breeze! The design is awesome and they will be much easier to keep clean than the ones we had prior.
