Q:How do you dim the light?

A:  The light can be dimmed when connected to a dimmer switch or when a universal wall control or remote control is installed. When using just the included pull chains the light can only be turned on or off.

      Q:Can we use a combo dimmable switch with this one? One switch that has two sliders, one for the fan and one for the light?

      A:  You can use a smooth dimmer slider for the light but for the fan you can only use a 3 speed control. It can be a slider switch with off and 3 specific speeds or a control with 3 buttons for speeds. Smooth sliders for the fan may damage the capacitor module and shorten the life of the electrical components.

        Q:What remote control can I install to dim the LED light ? I have an electrician that can install it. First one we installed would not dim the LED.

        A:  There are a variety of remote control kits available through The Home Depot and other retailers. Simply ensure the remote you choose has dimming functionality and is properly set to dimming mode during installation. Some remote models have a switch in the battery compartment that lets you disable and enable the dimming mode.

          Q:I purchased and installed two of these fans and the description says these are dimmable one of the main reason for purchasing. Now that they are installed they don?t seem to be dimmable and there is no reference in the use and care guide in the box.
