I love the look and the glow of the lights on my home. They are rustic and beautiful. The staff in lighting department at Home Depot were very helpful. I would recommend these lights to any one updating their home.

The spot where the light is affixed to the plate is very weak; we've had two of these snap on us (which causes the glass park to dangle from the wall unattractively) just from heavy winds (and ours are protected by a porch!). The way the metal tears around the spoke makes it impossible to fix- so you have to replace the light completely. I do not recommend these!! Splurge on something more heavy duty.

Super easy to install (I'm a woman with no electrical experience and it took me 15 minutes per light after watching a Youtube video), very stylish, great price!

I stumbled on this outdoor lantern just by accident. It's styling quickly got my attention. It is an extremely attractively designed lantern that looks great on either side of my driveway and on my front porch. It seems to be very well made and with the seeded glass, it has that classy, traditional look that I was searching for. With the body of the lantern made of aluminum, it should withstand the elements fine. The bottom of the lantern is open so when it comes time to change bulbs you needn't disassemble anything and with the capacity for 3-60 watt (or any combination of other wattages) candelabra based lights you can fine tune your light to whatever brightness you desire. For example for maximum brightness, choose 3-60 watt bulbs, or for a somewhat less bright light, choose 3-25 watt bulbs, or anything in between. The only problem that I encountered affected all three lights that I purchased, and that was that the wall plate and the lantern top were slightly misaligned and there is no adjustment to compensate for that. What I mean is that if the lantern top is installed so that it is perfectly level when viewing from the front, then the wall plate is slightly crooked. Or if you make sure that the wall plate is perfectly vertical, then the lantern sits slightly crooked. I opted to install it with the lantern perfectly level even though the wall plate sits at a slight angle. It isn't visible because the lantern hides it anyway, but it is something that needs to be addressed. Other than that minor problem, I am extremely well pleased with the look and operation of the lantern.

This thing is a disaster for the installer. The light is made of heavy metal which is good and the glass is good. But both my lights came crooked so that you had to make a choice whether the back plate or the lantern were to be hung askew. I have had the same problem with other brands since they all come from chins they are made to the usual low China standards. The hanging hardware is also poor. The screws that hold the lantern on the wall are too long. The adapter has a total of about 1/8 inch of adjustment room but the screws require at least 1/2" of adjustment. They would have plenty more room for adjustment but they hit the swivel part of the adapter if your wall box has horizontal holes. Also the rounded nuts that attach the lantern are so small they need a pair of needle nose pliers to tighten them. For a few more cents worth of hardware they could have greatly improved this lamp. The screws that hold the swivel in place are too small to tighten enough to hold the lamp from turning. The nuts that hold the screw that holds the lamp up are too small and cheap.

Very easy to install. All parts were in the box, and installed up very quickly.

These lights are very attractive and seem pretty durable.

Lights are very nice. However, screws that come with cross bracket are too long. They are 2 inches long. Base of light fixture wont sit flush. Pick up #8 screws thst are one inch long, and switch them out.

Great lights, we bought several of the larger lanterns and several of the smaller ones. Ended up taking back a couple of the smaller ones, as they look a little understated in places where you want the light to make a statement. Easy to install. Finish is a deep grey tone and somewhat rustic. Good quality

We had looked for Brushed Nickel without luck. Found this light at the local HD. Brought home to see it against the new siding we are installing... WOW..... It actually sets off better than the Nickel was doing. Ordered 5 more and have installed 3 at this time. Neighbors are always checking our progress and have agreed the lights look really good. As I stated, they are sturdy and very easy to install.

Took no time to install. The two lights brighten up the front porch tremendously! We purchased the same fixture previously for our old house and now for the new house.

So after we spent a lot of time deciding what fixtures (shopping several stores) we decided on these. I made custom mounting blocks for our cedar siding. I then realized when mounting these that If I were to mount the mounting base straight, the light would be crooked, If I mounted them so the light was straight the large mounting base was crooked on my custom cedar mounting block.... a little tough to bend... not sure what I'll do, I opened up the second light and its the same exact way. Not sure if I'm going to modify them or take them back...and start the shopping process over... the joys of home ownership.

The Brimfield fixture was easy to install with only a screw driver. I would buy them again.

The light seems well made and installed easily. Looks very good against our log siding and matches the screen door.

I am not what your would consider a professional handyman, so when I say that the install was easy and simple that says a lot. Replaced a 22 year old fixture with this one and am more than pleased. Installed a 60 watt equivalent LED bulb, (also purchased at home depot) and the lighting coverage is great.

I had this ugly light on the back patio since I bought my house and this looks wonderful!! Love it!!

This light fixture is beautiful! Goes perfect with the style and color of our exterior. The dark metal fits the rock we have around our front door. I have had it up about a month now. I love the rain glass over clear. Puts out plenty of light as well
