This is a nice nickel coated fan with modern sleek features. I really like the dimensions and room coverage for the fan. It is a little difficult to install the remote control box in the bracket due to tight clearances but it is achievable. I will break down the PROS and CONS below. PROS: Large Room Fan 12ft x 12ft Down rod mount with rod included Dimmable LED Light DC motor Remote Control 4,684 cubic feet air flow Quiet fan Reversible motor CONS: Remote control box difficult to install Wires difficult to tuck into fixture LED light fixture built into fan. No bulb I did not have a fixture in the ceiling to hang the light so I ran a power cord from the ceiling down to the outlet on the wall. It worked great and the fan really provides more than enough light and distributes the air in the summer and heat in the winter with the reversible blades. Nice fan for any home!

I got 2 of these fans on sale for $99/each for our bedrooms. For that price, these have greatly exceeded my expectations. Pros: -Price -Quiet fan -Moves Air! Even on lowest setting. Cons: -Controller is not the easiest to use. Sometimes you have to press the light button multiple times to get it to turn on. (More below) -Not much of a brightness difference between Med and High. My only complaints so far is that these fans only work with the included controllers and the light button does not work on a single press, instead it usually works better on a long press then double tap. Otherwise, these are amazing and for the price cannot complain. Would recommend if they were on sale again.

This Home Decorators Collection Arrano 56-inch Integrated LED Indoor Brushed Nickel DC Ceiling Fan with Light Kit and Remote Control was harder to install than other ceiling fans I've recently installed. It's also not really suitable for installation on an 8-foot high ceiling because it doesn't include a flush mounting option: ie. It has to be installed using the 8-inch down rod which works much better with a vaulted ceiling. Other ceiling fans I've installed recently use keyhole slots in the fan blades so the blades can be attached to the blade mounting arms with a quick push and click motion, but this fan uses the old style where you have to install 3 screws with fiber washers to attach each blade to its mounting arm. The wiring for the remote control receiver in the fan is tricky because the large receiver box has to be inserted through the center of the fan's mounting bracket whcih then blocks your access to the ceiling outlet box. The wiring harness for the receiver is much longer than it needs to be for the 8-inch down rod, presumably so it could accommodate a much longer down rod, but there's no mention of that in the instructions. Instead, they tell you to wrap all the excess wire around the fan mounting bracket. This turned out to be nearly impossible until I taped the 8 or so various wires together into a sort of cable so I could control better where they went. There are 3 wires for the incoming power feed, 3 more wires for the fan motor feed and 2 more wires for the light kit controls. I wired the power feed (neutral, load and ground wires) first because they are the shortest wires and need to be pushed up into the ceiling electrical box before the receiver blocks access to it. I would recommend just cutting off the excess light and fan motor control wires so you don't have to deal with wrapping them around the fan mounting bracket. The final installation issue came when I tried to install the LED light kit fitter assembly. The instructions say that the switch cup cover to which the light kit attaches has keyhole slots so you don't have to remove the three little screws from the light kit fitter assembly to install it. However, in fact, there are no keyhole slots, so the screws do have to be completely removed and reinstalled while holding the light kit fitter assembly in line with the switch cup cover's matching holes. The screws are made of a non-magnetic metal so you have to screw them back into the little holes while dodging the fan blade mounts and the top of the light kit fitter assembly without the aid of a magnetic screwdriver to hold the screws. Once installed, the Arrano ceiling fan and LED light kit looks attractive but a bit clunky. It says the remote has to "learn" the receiver and vice versa, but it seemed to work fine as soon as I turned the power on to the fan. The fan has six speeds that can be cycled through using the remote control. The LED light kit has three brightness settings: low, medium and high. To me, even the highest setting isn't all that bright. There's also a timer function that allows you to have the fan turn itself off after 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. The fan moves a lot of air on the highest speed setting. It also has a "Comfort Breeze" mode that cycles the fan through speeds 1 to 6 then back down to 1 again every 24 seconds. I'm not sure how "comfortable" that mode is -- I personally found it rather annoying but others might like it.

The Home Decorators Collection Arrano 56 in. Integrated LED Indoor Oil Rubbed Bronze DC Ceiling Fan with Light Kit and Remote Control was a great addition to the open space of the lounge Room. The unit was a bit awkward for one person top handle and install, but got installed. The remote control is one of the first that actually works in according to the direction. The extra length blades allow for a great deal of movement as compared to the 52 inch. I will purchase another to unit for the backroom.

This is a very impressive fan for several reasons. If you have a rustic look and/or “older” look, this is perfect. The oil rubbed bronze has a great look. We turned the blades to the weathered wood side and the globe especially has that old church auditorium look. But it has the modern features behind it. It is quiet and 6 speeds to suit your needs. The remote makes these features very handy. The LED lighting looks great and energy efficient. The installation directions made it easy to install. Nice fan!

This Home Decorators Collection Arrano 56 inch ceiling fan is a welcome addition to the bedroom. It's well made out of quality materials and components. Installation was a breeze but I'd recommend professional install if you're not comfortable working with electricity. My favorite feature of the fan is the remote. Wake up at night feeling a bit too warm? No problem. Reach for the remote on the night stand and turn the fan on. You can adjust it to any of 6 speeds and change direction. It also features a dimmable LED. Great fan!

The HOME DECORATORS COLLECTION ARRANO 56" ceiling fan we picked out is in brushed nickel and it has an DC motor which will run quieter and longer than strictly AC motors. This in itself is enough to rate the fan highly but after inspecting the quality of the craftsmanship with the manufacturing I am quite pleased. This remote control kit makes difficulty in reaching high ceilings to adjust rotation a thing of the past. The integrated and dimmable 13 watt LED lighting will give years of efficient use without the worry of changing out bad lamps and the hassle of finding the correct ones for the fixture. This spring this fan light combo with six speeds is going in a hard-to-get to ceiling over a stairway that tends to hold a lot of heat during the warmer months. I have been looking up at that light fixture for years wishing it could move air so now it will come true.Thanks!

I'm very pleased with this 56" ceiling fan. My previous fan used a 3rd party remote control and hummed loud enough on low to be annoying. This fan uses a DC motor and is dead silent on speed 1. Installation took about 3 hours. I installed a 3' down rod to accommodate my high, angled ceiling. The fan comes with about 5' of wire to allow longer down rods. The remote receiver is large, so the canopy that covers the junction box is also large. I don't find it particularly attractive, but it was easy to stuff the extra wire in so I didn't need to cut it. I really dislike installing screws upside down, so I installed the blade brackets to the fan before hanging it. The reversible blades install with 3 screws each, which was a little tedious. I've installed other fans that use a quick-release blade mount that goes much faster. The fan comes with a balancing kit, but I didn't need it. There's a barely noticeable wobble on the highest speed, which I'll never use. The LED light has 3 levels, and the brightest is brighter than my old fan was. The remote control has a back-lit LCD screen. Some of the buttons are press-and-hold so I needed to read the instructions. I'll be using the timer function since I usually forget to turn off the living room fan when I go to bed. My favorite features are the silence on low speeds, no dangling pull chains and no climbing on a chair to reverse directions.

I love everything about this fan. To start, the installation really could not have been easier. I have installed a lot of fans and this was the smoothest and easiest to install. The finish is very nice. I personally did not like the reverse fan blade finish with the rustic wood, it looked way too fake for me, but the black finish is sleek. The motor is extremely quiet even when it's going full. The remote is nice and simple.

Really liked this ceiling fan. My wife just had a baby and a remote controlled ceiling fan and light made it so much easier to keep our baby asleep without getting up to flip switches. The fan looks great with a good design on both sides except for the gray wood style side would match better with a home with more gray in it. It’s LED and that’s a big plus because no bulbs necessary. I wish it would’ve had a couple of manual strings on it just in case I lose the remote. Installation was pretty simple and took about 45 minutes. I really like how the install is straight forward with good instructions that are easy to follow. I’ve had a lot of bad luck with the past few fans in my room but this one feels like it’s much better quality. Really good lighting with different brightness and even a simulated air speed like an outside air. Really fancy and nice and definitely love it.

I received my Home Decorators Collection Arrano 56 in. Integrated LED Indoor Brushed Nickel DC Ceiling Fan with Light Kit and Remote Control. It came in a big box with a lot of parts. I opened the box & read through the instructions. The instructions are wrote very good & are easy to follow. The nickel color of the fan looks really nice. I have a large room with a 20 foot high ceiling where I'm going to install it. I called my Grandson's and told them about it and they are excited to help me install it. After looking at all the parts I will be going to Home Depot to buy a longer Brushed Nickel Extension. It is going to look awesome after we install it.

I got the Home Decorators Collection Arrano 56 in. Integrated LED Indoor Oil Rubbed Bronze DC Ceiling Fan with Light Kit and Remote Control Because it looks really cool, is a vary large fan size and has a remote control. It has a life time warranty to the original purchaser. Their is a instruction booklet with pictures, It does not show angled ceiling installation. Comes with a remote control with a lcd display, the instructions say it can learn up to 3 receiver in the fan unit[s] so when setting it up other fan units must be powered off. A wall switch can be used how ever it will turn on and off power to the receiver as all of the functions are controlled and powered from the receiver and do not bypass the receiver. the receiver is mounted in the mounting bracket. the fan blades have 2 different finishes [ see pictures] The fan has 6 different speeds, not including the off setting, they are as follows. 1] uses 3.83 watts , rpm 60, cfm 2320 2]uses 6.05 watts , rpm 81, cfm 3060 3]uses 9.65 watts , rpm 99, cfm 3963 4]uses 19.5 watts , rpm 132, cfm 4869 5]uses 37.1 watts , rpm 159, cfm 6319 6]uses 44.2 watts , rpm 172, cfm 6695 The remote does have memory so when turned on it will resume the same speed it was at when turned off. it also turned the led light on and off, the instructions do say it has a led light dimming function but it is limited to 33%, 80% and 100% dimming function. the dimming function can not be bypassed to a wall mounted dimmer. their is a timer function to turn fan off after 1,2,4, or 8 hours if desired. fan forwards and reverse is also on the remote.

This is a good fan for the price but installation is a little tricky. The fan works well and the six speeds are nice, the light is an integrated LED (not a bulb) and is bright enough for my 12 x 16 room. The blades are a rustic (very rustic) gray on one side and black on the other (reversible). The downrod is 6" and the lamp sits about 19" below the ceiling when installed. The remote works well but does not come with a holder which would have been nice. The fan has six speeds and three light settings which is great. Light appears to be a warm white. The instructions are good but installation was the longest of any fan I have installed. Prep work (wiring, assembling blades) took 30 minutes and removal or old fan and install of new took another 30 minutes. What took extra time was wiring and placing the remote control box. I really do not like installing ceiling fans, especially when holding 22 lbs up and wiring and this fan was a little more difficult than standard ones. Overall, nice fan just tricky to install and missing a remote holder. The integrated LED light is neat but if it ever breaks, it is much more than a trip to the hardware store for a bulb, it will need to be special ordered. Made in China.

A good value for the price. A nice looking brushed nickel finish. Installation was not too bad, I did change the down rod to a 4 in. length, which made it a little more difficult. The remote control does it all. It controls the six speeds, three levels of light, fan reversing, and also timer for fan run time. I would prefer a more daylight bright color rendering of the light.

Arrano 52-inch Integrated LED Indoor Brushed Nickel DC Ceiling Fan from the Home Decorators Collection with Light Kit and Remote Control. Read the installation instructions carefully. The Nickel finish blends in so well with the bedroom décor. We were replacing a fan, so we already had the outlet box and were able to route the wires and attach the fan with no problem. The fan is conveniently used with the remote. Included is a dimmable integrated 13-watt LED light. There is a reversible motor for year-round comfort, reversing the motor in the winter aids in rotating warm air and cutting down on energy costs . There are also 6 speeds for the fan, #6 is extremely strong! The blades are dark solid on one side or a worn barn look on the other side. We chose the dark blades to blend in with the bedroom.

I cannot wait to install this amazing ceiling fan at our Florida home. It will be awesome cooling as it has 6 speeds and runs a DC motor. The motor thing means it should be quieter and running with lower energy costs to boot. I will installing in main bedroom and may need to install a ceiling fan brace as this fan is heavier than older type fan. I will buy both types of brace and return the item I do not need, this is easier than going to store after taking down old fan.

I received my Home Decorators Collection Arrano fan; This is a 56-inch model with an energy-saving and quiet D.C. motor. The remote has a display screen which is handy to display the six speeds, the low, medium, high light, timer, reverse, power on and off, and a feature I like is the comfort breeze, which speeds the fan up then slows it down automatically. This fan is easy to install, and it has reversible blades, (dark on one side lighter finish on the other side) Overall, I like that this fan puts out a lot of air movement, is quiet, and runs perfectly smooth out of the box with no need to balance the blades.

Remote Control simply dims, and fan stopped working. It is not reliable.

Got 2 of these in 2020, just had both die within 2 months of each other. Would not recommend, the wireless unit/electric box goes bad on these units way to quickly. Stick to a name brand for about the same price, you won't have to replace the fans every 2 years then.

We bought these fans 2 years ago and wrote a review, but now we are not too happy about it. These fans have been so great for us for the past two years then all of a sudden one of them just stopped working. My stepdad is a contractor and said that the motor is out when he checked it out.

I purchased four of these and two out of the four had the wrong screws so we are unfortunately stuck with two fans we are unable to use. The two working fans are sufficient, but buyer beware that these are hit and miss.

Had a certified electrician troubleshoot ceiling fan that stopped working, found motor was bad along with part J remote control receiver, which is also a AC to DC converter. Contacted Customer support and told me I was out of 1 year warranty, umm motor have a lifetime Warrenty per the manual. Was told too bad then recommend by customer service not to purchase this brand??? Bought 2 of these fans never again.

Fan came well packaged, instructions are straightforward, remote works as described. Note the LED light color is "warm" and there is no way to change this to "cool" - reached out to the manufacturer for a cool light kit but doesn't exist.

very nice fan. Only thing missing is a wall bracket to hold the remote. by the wall switch. And pull chains for when the electronics fail the day after the wty expires.

I am very disappointed that when I turn on my light from the wall it does not turn on. It takes several attempts from the remote to turn on the light :( then I have to go look for my remote control to just get it to turn on. Does someone else have this problem? Other than that fan works great.

I had several requirements for new fans. Had to be DC (hate the hum of AC fans), had to have a remote, had to have an LED light, had to be flush mount. Well 3 outta 4 ain't bad. I thought this fan was flush mount because in the ad they noted that the fan came with a 6" down pipe included. So I assumed it was flush mount and they give you the option of using the included down pipe. Nope... You have to use the down pipe. I cut 3 inches off the down pipe and that is about all you can take off and still be able to mount the fan. Other than that I really like the fan. Nice to finally not hear the fans running.

Amid the other customers, who had issues installing this fan, I had those same problems. Plus one- The motor mounting bracket did not align with my ceiling electrical box screw holes. The bracket screw slot was a little shorter, so one screw did not lineup with the ceiling box. Had to file down the screw slot of the mounting bracket, until I could see the ceiling box screw hole. This is not my first rodeo with fan installations. Must has done 20 of them. And this fan was replacing an existing old fan. For the price, this fan should have been easy to install. Lousy engineering plus bad instructions equals NO recommendation.
