Beautiful light! Price was very reasonable and it looks like a very expensive light fixture. Very pleased with this purchase. We used 60 watt led bulbs and put a dimmer on it and it looks great. I installed these lights above our kitchen island. They put out a great amount of light for the entire kitchen, and look so much better than the previous track lighting we removed. It was a fairly simple installation that took about an hour.

The 3 light black linear island pendant with nickel accents comes packaged very well, the instructions are very clear, it is very easy to install, first open everything in your box to make sure that all the parts are in there , it might seem different when you see the plates, and a very long wires, to adjust the length of the wires make sure you do not just pull, loosen up the small bolts on each plate,measure and cut, set up your plate first connect the wires,secure the base and start placing the small plate first and the the longer one, adjust the level and start setting up the lights, it is absolutely beautiful, great quality

The directions were very clear it was very easy to install and material seems very durable and feels it will last a very long time. nice simple but elegant pendant light with a nice glow from the edison bulbs. installed the light to see how it looks and to check how adjust the height as it hangs down over 6 feet and we have a 8 foot ceiling. we love the cloth wire finish and the beautiful clear glass light covers and the black finish gives a more modern finish that we wanted for or kitchen remodel. we did decide to use another light as having to try to adjust up the length of wires was proving very hard for the height we need.

It could also be installed over a dining room table or in a large entrance way. There are three lights with nickel finish sockets and clear blown glass shades. The vintage style Edison bulbs are included. You can also change them to LED bulbs for long lasting and energy efficiency. The top part of the fixture is black matte metal from the single ceiling plate to where it meets the nickel. The island pendant gives off plenty of light and is made of high quality materials. This island pendant will complement any style or decor that will fit your needs. Mine is installed over my kitchen island top and I get plenty of compliments from my friends and family. It comes with all the hardware you need to install it. I does require a lot more installation time than a normal pendant, and I recommend because of the size that at least 2 people do the installation.

This fixture comes complete with installation instructions, all hardware including the mounting piece, adjustable chords providing ultimate versatility, and three utility led light bulbs (Edison type) which are included. This fixture can be adjusted (length) with the shortening or extension of the chords. It requires more steps than other fixtures and the 3 wires have to be disassembled from the wire nuts in order to make any length adjustment and then reassembled.The installation is a little more time consuming than most chandeliers, but well worth it once installed. The clear glass light shades are huge. The black woven cloth covered cords finish the industrial look of this light. This fixture is rather large in size and I would recommend having a helper to assist in hanging it. The 3 60W bulbs produce sufficient light for our family dining room area.

Home Decorators Collection 3-Light Black Linear Island Pendant with Nickel Accents This island light is huge it came with 8’ of wire so you can pretty much hook it up anywhere and still have room to go. The three lights are 36” long from end to end and each glass globe are 9” round and 10” tall. It came with 3 clear 60 watt bulbs. One of the bulbs arrived broken on the inside, no big deal though it happens. You have to adjust the wire length to suit you needs however adjustments are a bit clumsy and you’ll have to adjust and check for level many times to get it right. It would be perfect to hang over a regulation size pool table. it would also be great for over a large dining table. When I first opened the box I started laughing at how large the globes are compared to what I was expecting from an island pendant description. Aside from adjusting the length of the wire so that the entire fixture hangs evenly and level, installation was a breeze very basic to install. It has a nice look to the whole unit. The light fixture with the blown glass globes are very nice to look at. If you have a large island or a large dining table this would be a great addition to your home. I would recommend it.

great modern style chandelier with a beautiful glow from the Edison style bulbs that were included. very high end light with the "old style" cloth covered wire and Edison bulbs, we love the clear glass light shades. includes enough wire for 10 or 12 foot ceilings, we have 8 foot ceilings and will need to adjust up and cut back the wires to make it fit.

This light fixture was a disappointment. Here is why. First of all, there were NO instructions with the fixture. The three lights are supported by its wiring, which is covered by a woven fabric--maybe nylon. The spacing between lights is maintained by two flat, painted steel plates--a short one at the top and long at the bottom. The wires/cables are rather stiff and don't stretch out without considerable force being applied. It would take a significant amount of time for the weight of the glass shades to extend them fully if ever. You can see this in my photos. The wires had been stretched out for a week. When I attached the glass globes there were still some bends in the cables and I noticed as I set the fixture on a flat surface that the outer globes touched first. The long steel bar had about a 1-1/4 inch deflection from center to ends. In my mind that means the steel bar should have been a heavier gauge steel to minimize the deflection. I tried to adjust wires to overcome the deflection. That's a tedious process and can't really be done once you hang the fixture since it is difficult to push wire back into the canopy. I think the designers should have just opted for thicker steel or added a stiffening rib in the fabrication process. Two sets of three cylindrical nickel short rods with nylon set screws that you loosen to adjust the wire lengths. You must adjust at least one set of these cables unless you use the entire length of the wires, which almost nobody would do. The wires are long enough for this fixture to hang about 5 to 5-1/2 feet above the floor in a 14 foot high room as shipped. You must unwire the connections in the canopy to adjust the length and reconnect the 3 cables to a single black, white and ground wire. It's nice to have plenty of wire but it makes working with the fixture more difficult. You must loosen the set screws, adjust the wires close to equal lengths above the smaller steel bar and cut the cables. Then you tighten the set screws. When I did this, one of the set screws immediately would not retighten. The threads don't appear stripped and it looked light someone had applied a sealant to make the screw tighten the first time. I tried to find a replacement nylon set screw at The Home Depot. This is evidently a metric set screw and I didn't find a suitable replacement in the specialty screws. After fussing with to adjust the cables for 15 or 20 minutes I decided to simply hang it in our storage room for an overall photo. I will not be installing it permanently in our house. As for the glass shades, they have some random ripples in the glass (see photo) probably formed during the cooling. It doesn't look like antique glass and I know that glass shades like this can be made without such defects from experience with another light fixture. On the positive side, the nickel sockets and shade retainers are attractive and seem well made. The Edison-style bulbs are nice but they are not LEDs. At $219 USD, I I don't personally see the value.

The installation is laborious, but well worth it. What is great about this purchase is that it is a higher end piece with a unique style and quality that exceeds my expectations.

Attractive light fixture that will look really nice over a kitchen island or a kitchen table.....don't see it in a hall or front entry way, but that is just my opinion. The flat black look is super in now....so should be a big hit..... and it is a cross between contemporary (black and metal) and tutor....with the edition bulb...... nice fixture....not high end, but very nice for the price......

Its big, and it is pretty. I love the oversized glass globes and that it even came with the vintage style LED light bulbs (it is rare for manufacturers to include the light bulbs so this was a nice surprise when i opened the box. It is big and puts out great light, and also uses normal screw in bulbs which i like because with all of these integrated led lights out now......if the bulb or led unit goes....ur screwed. This is a great looking light tho and i am happy with it

I chose this chandelier for it's industrial styling. I have other light fixtures from Home Decorators and I have been very happy with them. This light appears to be of the same quality. The nickel finish is flawless, the domes are nice and clear, and the cables are fully sheathed. The light comes with three Edison style bulbs which is a nice touch. I originally got this fixture to go over our bathtub but after receiving it, it may be going in our patio.

This light fixture looks absolutely amazing and provides such a warm feeling to a space. Installation was pretty simple but took about 30 minutes to install. The height is adjustable which means they send you adequate length of wire for the unit but the wires can be cut to your desired length. For my application, I actually cut about 2 feet off and re-wired as required. The one thing I thought could be better is the set screws to hold the triangular metal dividers at correct elevation. The set screws are made of a hardened plastic which seemed to strip easily. They did the job but a metal set screw would probably be better long term. The glass surrounding the bulbs definitely provide great illumination but one must wipe them clean after installation. Fingerprints show up very easily, especially if sunlight hits them. Overall a wonderful looking fixture!

The industrial styling and vintage bulbs make this fixture fit in with varying types of décor. Other than the glass shades and cords, the fixture is manufactured out of metal. The blown glass shades are clear, without any imperfections. The black woven cloth covered cords finish the industrial look of this light. Installation instructions are detailed and minimal tools are required. This fixture is substantial in size and I would recommend 2 persons to hang it. Installation is straight forward without surprises. The 3 60W bulbs produce adequate light for our family dining room installation. Other LED 60W bulbs can also be used in the fixture. The fixture would also install well on a vaulted ceiling. 1 year warranty and a good price point on this quality light fixture.

I have not yet had the opportunity to install this light fixture, but want to comment on the looks and quality. I am very impressed with the quality and shape of the glass pieces of this light. They are well formed with no visible flaws or imperfections. They seem sturdy and I am excited to get this installed in our dining room. Just a note, but this would make for a very classy looking lamp over a pool table. Having inspected all the pieces and the instructions, it seems that installation should be fairly simple and un-complicated.

I picked up this light for my dinning room over the table and I really liked the look of the style online. I will say that I was definitely not disappointed when it was received. This is an absolutely gorgeous looking light. The fixture is extremely high quality. From the rope/wire casing to the glass shades to the steel settings, all carefully thought about in the design. The fixture is actually a bit bigger than it looks in the pictures, but fits the space perfectly. Also, it comes with the three lightbulbs as well, which you alway don’t get when purchasing a fixture. One recommendation would be to set aside a significant amount of time on the installation. Although the installation itself was straightforward, the hanging wires took quite a bit of time to align straight at each level. Worth the time though.
