This is a nice little entry way bench with a rack to put your shoes on. The rack is a little too narrow for my work boots, but fits regular shoes on it quite well. The bench is quite sturdy, and should hold up to years of use. Assembly took about 1 hour, as there are a lot of pieces in the box. Be careful and dont make the mistake I did. There are two sizes of bolts. The majority are the long ones, but step two uses the short ones. Of course I did not read the instructions and grabbed a bolt to screw in and pooched out the top of the bench a little by using the long bolt instead of the short one. Lesson is, it pays to read the instructions lol! Its a fairly unobtrusive bench, which I like, and it serves its purpose well in our entry hallway.

We were looking for a piece just like this and were happy when we saw it. It is a nice, attractive and sturdy piece once assembled, and that's where the problems begin. It isn't all together obvious that the bench needs to be assembled. There is just one line in the description that states that. Most RTA furniture usually has that right up front. At the price point for this piece, I find it to be outrageous. I see the item now has been reduced by 50% and I'm not sure it's a bargain at that. The bench came in a box, only slightly smaller than the assembled unit. It was packed with an enormous amount of foam sheeting, enough that it closely equaled the volume of the bench. I'm not an avid environmentalist but could not in right conscience allow this material to go into a land fill. I was able to list it and found a craft person who could make use of it. Enough of that. Assembly - I have been putting RTA furniture together since the blue & yellow Scandinavian store opened here. I can say that this piece, although using the same fasteners, would benefit from some of the same construction elements. It came with about a dozen individual bags of fasteners and the instructions were very detailed. Unfortunately, some of the assembly sequences required a lot of skill and if I did not have some short screwdrivers, would not have been able to tighten a few of the cam locks in the back of the drawer cavities. All in all, what should have taken me a half hour, took about three times that. Once built, it is very solid and nice looking but I feel hardly worth the price considering the assembly. It seems to me, that it the bench came assembled from the factory, it could have fit in packaging only slightly larger than the unassembled unit took. The drawers are a nice touch and the open shelf is exactly what we wanted to put our shoes on. I give it five stars for the finished product, but barely three stars for the execution considering the obscene amount of packaging and the effort to assemble. For the price, you could go to a local furniture store and walk away with a similar item and less of a hassle.

Very nice looking entryway bench that grandchildren are attracted to like a magnet. We keep their small toys and toy cars in the right hand drawer and they can't wait to get into it as soon as they enter the house. We use our Sun Room like a Mud Room and this unit is perfect for it. This unit is both strong and elegant. The unit does take time to build as there are a lot of parts, but the result is really nice. Most of the install is pretty similar to what is found in any assemble-it-yourself furniture. The typical cam locks, cam studs and dowels are good, but the use of wood screws to connect the back panel to the particle board back panel Is a bit weak inasmuch as they don't bite as well as any of the other screws used in the project and cannot be trusted to pull tight without stripping. Hitting the pilot holes to ensure a tight fit is pretty difficult, making the propensity to just drive them in where they land pretty strong.This piece probably should include the use of glue for several of the dowel use cases to make this unit last long tern, however, like many similar products, it is not all mentioned in the instructions. All in all, however, we really like this unit and our grandkids like it even more. Two thumbs up

I was afraid when I bought this that it would be kind of like all the put it together yourself type things, that at first glance seems ok, only to fall apart in a blink of an eye. Well, although I had to resort to expert family help to assemble (yes, I am not mechanical lol), we all have decided this really is nice quality. The drawers slide great, its sturdy and durable. I really am pleased.

Really good quality and price, and just fit on entry space. If I have to pick something negative then only instruction. I prefer 4 cc on 3b. I also prefer 5a as soon as after 4a. I rotate 90 degree clockwise on 6c. again all those steps are just my personal preference.

Worked perfectly for behind my couch. The couch can recline without running into the bench. I was looking for something with a shelf. The drawers were a bonus. The colors fit in with my other furniture.

Build quality is much higher than expected. Finish is such that any fingerprints / oils of any kind will be quite visible. Be sure to follow step-by-step on assembly, it is more complex than typical knock-down furniture.

Great size. Fits perfectly under window next to shower.

The cushion quality and look is underwhelming and the drawers very shallow; it’s functional but not exactly what I had hoped.

Looks good. Comfortable and accessible for putting on shoes. The top unit is not as deep as I had hoped. One can "just" store a size 6 women's athletic shoe.

This piece of "furniture" is ok. I have purchased a desk Wooden file cabinet and book shelves that were better quality. It is not that this piece is bad, it is average.

Very pretty and sturdy

slightly off balance on top, not sure why though I have checked everything screw in correctly. Otherwise good decent bench on our entryway and fit perfectly in the space we wanted.
