While this did take me 3 hours to put together, it wasn’t hard. It was just tedious. More so because I was doing it by myself. I like it!

The product arrived earlier than expected. The bench was well packaged with no issues. All wood pieces and hardware were well marked making it easy to put together by following the simple written and visual instructions. Recommendation of two people to put together, but I was able to accomplish it by myself. Very sturdy and heavy once it is all put together. Space is needed between the wall and the bench to open the lid of storage seat. Love my purchase.

I love this. It is hard to put together, but it is a very nice piece. It’s big enough to hold everything and the right height for a seat.... or maybe a good place to dry your dog!

love this bench! it was fairly simple to put together, would have gone quicker with out the kids helping, and husband insisting on putting wood glue on literally everything haha, but it works perfect for tossing all my boys shoes in by the door, and they loved helping put it together. perfect height, and the safety hinge is great so the boys can get their own stuff out w/o pinching their fingers. 100% would buy again.

This bench is beautiful! It's very sturdy and I'm sure I'll get many years of use. It arrived quickly. The box had a little damage but the contents were intact and packaged well. We put it together together. It is heavy. Four hands are better then two but you can do it alone. I comes with the cushion. When the top is open it stays in place and won't fall shut unless you close it. Little fingers won't get pinched! The white is perfect, it easily wipes clean with a damp cloth & mild soap. I've received many compliments. I highly recommend it!

I lucked out and got this bench while on sale during labor day. It is just what I needed when I decided to I redo my study and downsize all of the crap I had in it. Still I needed some place to store my toys. I found this bench and it is perfect. It also matches my new desk! It is not to hard to assemble. However, there were parts when I really needed an extra set of hands. Still, I assembled it by myself, but took some work and problem solving. The 2 places where I really needed help were when attaching the top right panel to the bench and attaching the safety hinge. Other than that it was fairly easy to assemble. I thought it was full proof until I got to the drawers. I put them together, but I could not for the life of me to get them to slide into the slides. Finally, I figured out I put the sides of both drawers were on the wrong side. How did I do that? Both drawers wrong!!! I had to take them apart and reassemble them correctly. So, beware when you assemble the drawers. Anyway, I attached some pictures and I think it looks great in my study.

I love these furniture kits. You get what looks like a lot of pieces, but they go together easily and you end up with a very nice looking and sturdy piece of furniture. This entry bench is perfect if you have four feet of space near your door. The bench top tilts open and is a perfect place to store your shoes. The top is a comfortable padded seat. There are two drawers where you can store gloves, scarves, or dog leashes and anything else you might need for walking the dogs. One precaution, if you decide to use a powered screw driver to save some time, be careful with the smaller screws. You can twist the heads off if you don't take your time.

Handy storage piece. We have a finished basement, so this was the perfect piece to put by the door, both for storage, and somewhere to sit and put on shoes. If you've ever assembled anything from a popular Swedish brand, this is easier. The only tools required are a phillips head screwdriver. All the wooden pieces are labeled with easy to remove stickers, and all the screws and cams were separated into labeled bags, so it was very easy to find the right piece. My wife (who is the best at furniture assembly) assembled this with the help of our 4-year-old, and it took them maybe 90 minutes. The hardest part was getting the safety hinge on the lid, which needs the help of another adult, or the ability to turn the piece on its side, and hold it up, while inserting screws. The back pieces aren't nailed in place, but rather screwed, which I greatly prefer. The entire bottom is one very solid piece, and is where most of the weight is. Very sturdy, and while it can be moved solo, it's not a featherweight! I felt comfortable sitting on it, and it seemed to do well under my weight, though its really only space one adult. The bench offers decent storage, but the drawers were a bit smaller than anticipated. They cannot fit an 8.5x11, but are a good size for hats, and gloves. The bottom of the two is much deeper. The drawers slide well too, and have a safety latch, so they can't come all the way out by themselves. The bench will need to be a few inches from the wall, which is something to be aware of. Overall, and very sturdy, and stylish piece. Quick and easy assembly, and provides good storage. I do wish the cushion was a darker color, but it does wipe clean easily.

I hate buying furniture that has to be assembled...they should be paying me to do that. That being said, Home Depot was nice enough to provide this interesting piece to me, so I felt I should make the effort. First off, if you can clear yourself out a large work area, do it. It will make the whole job a lot easier. Also, non scratch surfaces to set things on. The box it comes in provides a pretty good surface, about 5’x 7’. If you look at the assembly instructions, you will see that it is quite an elaborate project. Most of the assembly is with wooden dowels and cam locks, pretty standard stuff, but make sure you have a drill driver handy for the numerous wood screws that need to be tapped & installed. One problem I ran into, you will need to reverse the order of the hinge installation to the top, by hooking them to the top first, or get somebody to hold it up for you. Either way, it's a bit of a pain. And the unit will have to sit out a little ways from the wall once assembled, about 2 inches, in order for the storage top to lift up, which I wasn’t counting on when I measured my space. The whole thing, from beginning prep to after-assembly clean up, was at least a 3 hour job, 3/4 of it on my knees (wear some knee pads). Yes, it's a very nice-looking piece once assembled (thank you, me), but it's really no different than a vanity, with similar styling, that would come pre-assembled, and you could probably get for close to the same price. So I don't understand the attraction. You’re not really saving that much money. If you like putting furniture together and providing “free labor” that you shouldn't have to, have at it. For myself, I'm pretty sure this is my last one. And good riddance!

It's a good-looking piece and feels very solid once assembled, but my goodness the assembly was a nightmare. Everything went smoothly until the step where you attach the lid, and that was enough to make me reconsider getting another one. Also, the drawer slides are pretty bad, you really have to work at opening and closing those drawers. Overall, good product but be prepared to have a mental breakdown while trying to put the lid on. I definitely recommend drilling yourself some pilot holes, as their pilot holes are merely suggestions of holes.

Great assembly instructions. The piece goes together well and is super sturdy. It looks great and provides the seat/storage functionality we needed.

Great bench. Built solid and beautiful looking. I would have given it 5 stars except for the bottom drawer. I can't get it to go in. I've spent hours on it and for now the drawer is just sitting there. I'm hoping eventually I'll figure it out. Also, comes in many pieces, but don't let that scare you the directions are detailed - except for putting in the drawers.

Although made with MDF, the bench is heavy and sturdy. Quite a bit of assembly, but parts and pre-drilled holes were well-machined for the most part making it easier than other furniture I've had to put together. However, the screws are left exposed in the back so that it has to be put against a wall. For the price, I would have expected the manufacturer to address this issue.

This product was fairly easy to assemble by myself. It fit perfectly into the space I needed. The drawers were a little smaller than I thought but otherwise it looks great!

Looks great & very sturdy. The lid to the storage can not be opened, however, if the unit is pushed up against a wall. Since we don't want to have the unit 3 inches away from the wall, we end up moving the unit every time we access the storage.

I was afraid that the color wasn't going to be exactly like the picture and the bench was going to be thin wood. The color was exactly like the picture and bench is very sturdy. Very happy with the product.

Took a long time to assemble, but looks great when it got together. Although, you have to pull it away from the wall to open.

The color of the bench is a bit off Mosta orangey to do it but mainly red. The lid was near impossible to put on. The rest of the cabinet was easy and self-explanatory.

Looks good once it's together. Everything went fine until it was time to attach the hinges. They were next to impossible to screw in since there wasn't any predrilled holes. And it was hard to hold the lod in place even with multiple people doing it.
