LED stopped working 3 months after install. Easier to change out teh entire light then mess with a new LED component

I think there’s a reason these are no longer available in the stores...I feel certain Home Decorators Collection knows they’re junk and are just going to keep them available on line until they run out. Which is great for us since we’re replacing them about every 2 months. So, here’s the story...we bought 4, so we’re kind of committed...first off, they look great, a little bit scary is the fact that they’re LED and there seems to be NO WAY to change a “bulb” or LED disc...so I guess if the LED component fails you throw out the whole fixture!?! Another annoyance is that they’re motion sensors not nighttime motion sensors - meaning they’re turning on all DAY as well as all night, which is of course when you want them to turn on - NIGHT TIME! I’m not sure why in the HAIL they would be designed to turn on during the DAY but, I would imagine that constant and continual off and on is what makes them crash and burn...I’m going to reach out to Home Decorators Collection in hopes that they’ll help us out with a new and improved version of this very impractical but really good looking outdoor fixture...

Beautiful to look at but the LED’s burn out after 6-9 months. Can’t replace the LED panels either. Not worth the price.

This looks incredible but in about 4 months I noticed it was getting dimmer and now it barely lights up . The leds are all burning out Now I’m stuck with an ornament Instead of functioning light

Great look for my front porch with a dull light that doesn't blind you as you walk up. I would buy this many times over.

I think we fared better than most, almost got a year out of it before it burnt out.

It pretty and functional. It is for a craftsman shed/garage and worked perfectly!

We originally installed five of these 18 months ago. One of them failed, and there is no replacement bulb; the only way to fix it is to replace the fixture. Other than that, I am quite happy with the design, performance, etc. To replace the failed one, I bought two; one as the immediate replacement and another to keep on hand for when the next one fails.

This is actually our second time buying 2 of these sconces. 3 years ago I bought them for an interior hallway and couldn’t get over how beautiful they looked against a white shiplapped wall. We only stayed in that house a year so I don’t know how long they lasted. When we bought and began renovating an 1880’s farmhouse, I knew exactly what I wanted at the front entrance, so I bought 2 more! However, only a few months after installing them, we noticed they were barely putting off any light and slowly, but surely, all of the irreplacable LEDs inside burned out. We thought it might have been the wiring going to them, but after confirming this morning, it IS the lights. They’re beautiful, but useless. What a waste of money! If they’re just for looks, go for it! But if you need an actual light, keep looking.

Attractive and functional.

We purchased this because it was the most attractive motion sensor light we could find. The motion sensor never quite worked. Sometimes it came on, sometimes it didn't. The worst part is that after less than a year and a half, the LEDs are totally burned out. Since LED lightbulbs last years, I assumed this light would, too. I was wrong. Do not waste your money on this. I hope Home Depot will offer a refund.

Hard-wired it - set to motion sensor and it flashed on and off every 10 seconds - never stopped - unwired and returned it - waste of time and effort!

bought 4 for my garage. within 1 year one was no longer lighting up on all LEDs, and then another went bad shortly after replacing the first one. 2 out of 4 originals still work fine, as did initial replacement light. Good news is HD has been good about returns via 3 year warranty with the product - so replacing the other bad one.

This light is crap the motion sensor stopped working so the light never shuts off

We really like the style of this outdoor LED Motion Sensor Wall Barn Light Sconce Lantern compared to other outdoor wall mounted light fixtures. The interior color creates a warm ambient light. Requirement by us is for fixture to have a motion sensor. Not many fixtures fit all our requirements. This one does and this is our 4th one in 2 years. Two of the LED units burned out within a year. You might wonder why we would keep replacing with the same one if having this kind of trouble? Because we really do like the design and the warm glow of the emitted light combined with the motion sensor that much! We had the fixture installed by an electrician; therefore, we don't know how to rate ease of installation. This time we're going to install it ourselves.

Love the look of this outdoor light, we used it for our front patio but the LED light only lasted 4 months. Was hoping you could replace the light but reading all the other reviews you can not replace it.
