LED lights are not really bright but ok. The batteries do not stay charged very long if you take them off the stands. I had to re-wire the boxes from being on a switch to continually hot because when I turned the switch off the light batteries turned the lanterns on during the day. If I left the switch to the lanterns on, they would turn off (because they are light sensitive) but my porch light had to stay on all day because it was on the same circuit.

Beautiful lights...really cool that you can remove the lantern and the base still is lit....helped give our home the more craftsman style we were looking for....

Light weight, easy to install. I'm a 60 y/o female and I placed them by myself.

Great Light with a lot of light output. I only wish it had a lock so it couldn't be stolen.

Super easy to install. The item is packaged with a X shaped bar that easily attaches to any junction box and then the lantern base plate attaches to long screws that are part of that bar. You do this with the lantern removed from the base so it super easy and not awkward. The light emitted from the unit is quite bright and uniform. Finally - the ability to remove and walk around with the lantern is a very nice benefit - whether you need it as a substitute for a flashlight - or you wish to place it at the center of your outdoor dining table.

Easy to replace current lights. Love that these are portable lanterns! One note: If you switch off the lights, the battery powered lanterns stay on. The only way to turn the porch lights off (if you run out of halloween candy, let's say) is to remove and hide the lanterns.

They were easy to install and worked well the first night. We are very happy with the look of the lanterns and the amount of light they cast.

Love these lights. They are so pretty and we’re easy to install. I have them on my front porch and back patio. The removable feature is awesome

Easy install. Decent quality materials. Mounting screws were too long. Needed to add 6 or 7 washers to make it a snug fit. Perfect amount of lighting when mounted. Haven’t detached them and used as a portable light yet.

Easy to install. Appearance is nice , but slightly on the cheap side (plastic look) - but acceptable. Bright / good lighting. Functions well - dust to dawn.

Really like the functionality of these Lanterns and the lighting is great.

Removable lantern is a big hit

In comparison, this light is more expensive than the rest of the selection at my local HD. That said, it has all the features we wanted and more. It is super bright (LED). It says on from dusk to dawn. It is completely sealed so we don’t have to worry about cleaning bugs. It has a battery too!
