Failed two days after putting up
I had used these shades before in a previous home and was excited to get more for my new house. I ordered online and when they came the cellular part felt significantly more fragile than my previous ones. Two days after hanging them I tried to put them to the blackout shade and no matter what you did the middle plastic divider would not stay all the way up and I always had about 9” of the sheer part hanging down. I should mention I bought two, and they both failed within days in the same way.

Love the light filtering function during the day and the blackout and insulation quality at night. Very easy to install and provides a beautiful, sleek look to our remodeled kitchen. Looking forward to changing out all of our aluminum blinds to these cellular shades

Expensive and mediocre quality but day night
Expensive for what you get. The blackout part is a cheap plastic that feels like light paper on the outside and inside is a black crinkly film. The sheer part seems to be decent quality. The whole shade is actually two shades stacked, so it will not be as neat or compact as a regular cellular shade when retracted. There aren't a lot of options out there for this type of shade, however. Only the top part has a handle. I had to purchase one for the bottom separately and it doesn't fit well.

I love these blinds. I have them in three rooms now. I bought them because I was looking for a sheer cellular shade that I could see thru. Being able to raise the blackout shade is an added bonus. You get the best of both shades.

easy to install, great for day and night
One person can easily install it in 15min. Just need ro drill 6 holes, screw in brackets, and snap in the shade! If you order longer shade you may need help on the snapping step. The pull and push are very smooth. See my picture for comparison. Day shade gives enough light with privacy. Night shade blocks most of the light. The half and half effect is perfect for low windows. Also i love how compact it is when its not in use. The compact size is about 3 inches. Highly recommend.

          Not the best quality . . .
I will be returning this blind. The top part is extremely sheer, like lace and very see thru, but also it won’t hang straight. The top “cells” are stuck together in areas that make it look uneven and I dont think I can live with that. The bottom black out part is paper and will easily be damaged. It also lets in light along the sides so not really a black out. Its not worth the money, I will pay a little more and get a better quality shade.

            Amazing versatile blinds
This Day Night Blind answered all my needs in a blind. Night feature keeps out sunlight and moonlight and allows for great sleep. Day feature allows full view of outside and filtered part is just perfect too. Great blinds.

                Excellent cellular shades
I love these cellular shades. They help insulate my giant front room window and the day shade is perfect for adjusting the light diffusion through the window. Highly recommend

                  I love them!!
I have an enormous picture window that has two sections, with the smaller side the part that opens. I was able to order two blinds to cover this window giving me multiple ways to adjust the blinds for privacy and light diffusion. I have the same shades in my bedroom and I love them just as much. They really help insulate the window, especially in the negative temps over the past couple of days. Highly recommend

Simple to install, all about the brackets, love the dual dark/light feature. You can have all blackout, or filter in some or all light. Pricey, but worth the money. Satisfied customer here.

                    Home Depot measured wrong
These shades themselves are fine but the measurements done by Home Depot were off. We had the professional measure person come out and still there are gaps on each side of every single one of our 10 shades. The room does not come close to getting dark enough for our toddler. The problem is when a window opening isn’t exactly square they take the smallest measurement. Unfortunately this was a costly mistake. I’ve installed other light filtering shades myself since and got them to fit perfectly.

Light Filtering is COMPLETELY see through!
I am really unhappy with these blinds. I have ordered similar blinds from other companies and the tops of those are actually light filtering and not see through. The pictures in the item description are completely misleading. The tops are totally see through and do not block anything. I a extremely disappointed and am not stuck with 4 pair of these and won't be using them. What a waste of a lot of money!

It does the job but paper
This day/night blind is cool but the blackout side at the button is paper so one has to be careful. I used in in my master bath

                        Versatile, Affordable Shade!
Couldn't believe it when I found this shade...and it was very affordable! Due to window's location at top of stairs, curtains were not an option. And, guests needed light during day, but blackout to sleep at night. This shade worked perfectly! Reminds me of shades like this made for RVs!

Absolutely love these shades. Was extremely easy to install, only took about a half hour total for two sets. And they were cut to just the right size per our specification. The blackout makes the room completely dark and light filtering is the perfect soft light, and it keeps the room's temperature more steady, too. It's amazing to have the option to do as much or as little as we want depending on the time of day-- especially great since we get blasted with light in the morning, and now the room stays cool. Can't say enough good things about this!

                          Great value and smooth operation
We ordered one to test and are now ordering more. The sheer portion is truly very sheer, but I see that as a plus. You can see out with just a little diffusion. 2) The bottom edge clips into brackets, so this shade is meant to remain fixed and not be lowered or raised exposing the clear window. The clear plastic, center-mounted level by which to raise/lower seems sturdy and is well placed. No one should have to touch the blind material, keeping it clean.

Love the dual options of sheer or blackout. Installation instructions should be reviewed for someone who is a novice home project performer.

                            Poor quality. Avoid.
The concept is great, top-down/bottom-up; however, I've just started the process of replacing this shade in our bathroom for the 3rd time in 1 1/2 years. Everything about the shade is great - until it's not. Now the bottom black-out section will not retract up (as before). Something in the internal cord mechanism fails and the shade remains fully extended, unable to retract. The first time it failed, I was able to remove the shade and exchange it at my local home depot. Inconvenient yes, but at least they took care of it. Now, I'm outside the warranty so the replacement will come out of my pocket--again. The $110 price is great but now I'm going to spend another $110+. I should have just purchased a better/higher quality shade the first time for $225+ and avoided the cost & frustration.

                              Perfect blinds for bedroom
Had them cut to our inside measurements at the store. Went up easy. Love all the light that comes through and dark option for night. Perfect for our bedroom.

                                Perfect shades for my bathroom
Love this shade over my jacuzzi tub, over looking my garden. There's times when I like to see the flowers in full bloom and then there's time to retain privacy. At night I just half way pull them up and I still have the moon light. Also purchased another one for the other window in the same bath.

These shades are perfect for our windows that face a busy sidewalk. We have the option to lower the blackout shades for privacy from people walking by but we can allow plenty of light from the top sheer level. I would like to see a stronger design for the hand pull on the middle section and some sort of pull for the bottom section. We love the look and overall functionality.

Perfect shade, in my opinion. Sheer obscures without losing true daylight, unlike nearly all other "light-filtering" shades. And the blackout is, of course, blackout. I bought two mid-year for an office/guest bedroom space, loved them so much that I bought another pair for living room windows facing a busy street. The photos hopefully illustrate the difference with shades up/down!

                                  looks nice but cheap
These look great, but they arent made to last the blackout is actually made of paper. And install was HORRENDOUS! The screws given are so cheap and absolutely infuriating. The plastic piece used to adjust the shades and the plastic pieces used to keep the shades locked in place is absolutely not durable and will not last And they arent “custom” you put in your window size and they send you the closest they have which is within an inch but still they arent cut to size For the price you would think they wouldnt give plastic cheap pieces and cheap screws

Fair - the pleats were “stuck” together along the edges in several places. They had to be very carefully pulled apart (difficult to do w/o tearing the fabric) before the shade would operate.
