It is weird that so many nominally 16 x 20...
It is weird that so many nominally 16 x 20 x 4 filters have such a range of actual sizes. Look carefully at the actual dimensions; and what you need for your furnace. In my case; this product fits GREAT!

4 3/8??? Really??? 🙄
Who in the heck came up with the idea that 16x20x4 is 15 15/16 x 19 3/4 x 4 3/8???? Following your own logic it should’ve been 3 15/16 or 3 3/4 [SMH] this is just unbelievable. I’ll let you in on a little secret: 4 3/8 filter doesn’t fit in a 4” box 🤫

The last filter I had which was labeled 16x20x4 was actually a little smaller, so when I inserted it into the furnace, one side would drop down so the filter was not level. This filter fits perfectly (not snug but very close to it). It also arrived undamaged (no dings or dents).

I purchased this filter to replace my Honeywell electronic air filters. It slipped right into the same space as the original powered cells. Works great removing dust and particles from the air. Much less dust in the house.

Doesn’t fit
Oddly enough, this doesn’t fit in a 4 inch slot. Because it’s almost 4 1/2 inches wide, unbelievable!

Does not actually fit what it says it does. Check the actual dimensions your furnace needs prior to purchase.

The unit is a tad too big to fit properly. I had trouble getting it into its place. It was too tight and a very snug fit. W I’ll probably try another brand next time.
