I have to tell you that I use this product today for the first time because I had an outbreak in my bedroom that I believe my boyfriend trampled in from his house in Darby Pennsylvania. I purchased it from home Depot on Baltimore Pike in Springfield Pennsylvania a store that I like but I have to tell you I sprayed this directly on a couple of bed bugs underneath my mattress and underneath my box spring in the corners and I can tell you that the bed bugs look like they were taking a shower and it it seemed to have absolutely no effect I watch them for almost 3 minutes and it did not seem to do anything. The smell is so bad that as soon as you start spraying it you start choking and you have to get out it's that old exterminating fluid smell from the 50s and 60s. It just is smells very badly and I can't see how you could use this around children pets or anybody who has chronic asthma and or throat problems cuz it would start to make them choke so if someone older has a choking problem I would not put this in the same area they're going to be sitting near. it's heartbreaking that everything we buy in America they water down whether it's deodorant or iced tea everything we purchase is watered down that it does nothing whatsoever in the hopes that will go back and buy it again and again and again saying oh well I had them so good I had to keep buying it again and again and again and I think it's just the way for these companies like hot shot to get away with taking gorging America. It just doesn't seem to do anything the last time I used one by Harris it comes in a big yellow container and that is amazing that worked it really works good this don't do nothing but smell and make you choke and it doesn't seem to affect them whatsoever what's the point here? Save your money. By the one by a company called Harris it's yellow that's also sold at home Depot but I haven't seen it sometimes it comes in a kick.

This spray is super-convenient and is pet safe once you make sure it’s dry, which was why I treat my home all over the place with it. It kills the adult fleas and stops the eggs from hatching, as well, which is essential to control fleas. Fleas can become a problem at any time if you have dogs, no matter how meticulously you keep their coats and bedding! I learned this the hard way, and HotShot was truly my savior when I thought merely cleaning holistically could rid my dogs of their minor flea infestations. The fleas multiplied almost nightly until I was at my wit’s end, and I had even tried other chemicals after having sworn off chemicals in our home. I was about to call the dreaded exterminator when I learned more about the flea life cycle and how HotShot works. I am so glad I did because this spray is as close as you’re going to get to an effective, non-poisonous spray for your home. Yes, it’s chemicals, but there is no residue and absolutely no offensive odor! And It’s guaranteed to work or your money back! I don’t know how it works so long, but one good spraying of all the crevices in the dog’s room at the beginning of the summer controls fleas and most other bugs (even earwigs) for more than three months. I will never go without HotShot in our home again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The spray was fairly easy to use. I just had to spray the area that needed to be sprayed. It came out pretty fast and with ease. I could not smell anything at all. There was no chemical smell, and it did not burn my eyes or irritate me. It did not stain any of my items like my mattress. I have not seen any bugs since spraying which is a good thing. I can see myself using this spray again and again.

it takes a lot of time and the smell is unpleasant

Very nice chemicals. Need good ventilation. Need to think like a bedbug and spray where you would hide. See picture. See the book cases? Hot spots.

The spray didn’t work, now I have to comeback and return the product what is causing me a big delay and home proyect It is very frustrated

Not entirely effective for fleas which is listed on its label. Still have a flea problem. Not happy with this product.

Doesn’t work at all. Was seeing a bed bug every few days so did a deep clean and steamed everything and got this just to spray. Managed to catch a bedbug and decided to test the effectiveness by spraying it directly…didnt do a thing. Do not buy
