Less than one year of use, it now takes almost an entire day to charge. Quality of the light it is terrible compared to Milwaukee LED worklights. And the lens is hands down the worst I've ever had of any light. Can't use it on high, burns within seconds

What's with the USB charging? Which doesn't come with the power supply by the way, only the cable. Those boxes are scarce in our house with 2 kids! I definitely don't have extras to take out in the garage. So the light is basically useless as it comes. The clamp could be stronger too. Hopefully it'll continue to hold its own weight, although I'm not confident. The light itself is powerful and the reason for the 3 stars. Off to look for a USB power supply.

Great portable light for any and every occasion... It has 2 light variable options. 1Click very bright; 2clicks 50% brightness; 3clicks Off The light pivots and rotates, which is very handy finding a place to attach, hang, mount, or settle. It also charges with a USB micro usb it comes with the cable adapter but NOT the outlet wall plugin. Still very very very good light. I've used it for a few hrs and it has not even worn.

This light was easy to use. I started with a charge - as every battery operated devices advises. There are a few options to for usage. Plenty of flexabilty from the light head - it rotates 360 endlessly as the battery and light are all in the rotating head. Fantastic design. The battery life has been very good. I used it outside clearing a grassy area in the yard for about 30 minutes and cleaning out a shed for another 30 minutes. Down 1 of 4 bars on the battery. There is a high and low, but I only used the High! The clamp can be used as a stand or clamp. The stand option is not secure, and the weight of the head may offset the balance if you are not very careful. Using the Clamp feature on a 2x6 worked well overhead as long as I had the head directly below, but moving the head around can cause a weight unbalance, and the clamp can fail. There are also rounded grooves for clamping - I have not tested but believe it would work best - on conduit or an overhead bar. The light is fantastic, battery life seems great, the unit is sturdy and versatile. It was difficult to get out of the packaging - have some wire cutters available.

A very versatile light! Very bright white light. I was able to paint a room in the dark without a problem. Actually easier than in daylight because it is easier to see the flaws. Floods about an 8 x 12 foot space with bright white light. The headlamp piece swivels 360 degrees and is on a hinge to adjust the angle. The clamp works great for anything over 2 inches thick. The clamps has curves built into it to hold onto a pipe or square iron. I had a bit of a problem clamping to a 1 inch plywood sheet but it just sagged a bit. Not really an issue. Would also clamp to a car hood. Includes 4 battery strength indicator lights. they also flash when charging so you know how much of a charge there is. If there is any room for improvement besides more battery it would be to make the clip to turn the clamp into a stand a bit easier to use. Functions fine, was just a bit hard to get it to clip unless you use two hands. Really can't find anything to complain about. This is my 2nd Husky rechargeable LED work-light. My other light is several years old and works as well as it did the day I bought it.

This clamp light is great. Plenty of light with multiple settings. The head is very flexible which will make it most useful. Seems fairly water resistant too. The clamping system is very versatile and plenty strong. It grips almost anything. The fact that is also stands up on its own and is very sturdy. I am sure that I will continue to get a lot of use out if it.

This is a workaholic lamp. Built sturdy and has all kinds of options to clamp it, hang it, lay it flat, etc. Many uses for this product. It is "Husky strong" and built well. We used it outside to finish painting railings on the new deck. What works well on it is how easy you can stand it up or clamp it. There are two lumen choices so you get the right brightness where needed. It folds up easy and compact. Good product but not a surprise to us as Husky has a good name and the products we've had from them hold up.

This is a very bright clamp on rechargeable LED work light. I am impressed about how smooth and uniform the field of light is. It weighs just over a pound and a half on the postal scale that I have. The clamp opens to 2-1/4 inches wide. It can clamp a 2 by 4 plus a 1 by 4. That 1-1/2 inches plus 3/4 inches. The four green LED indicators on the back are very pretty when they light up when the button is being pressed.

This is a neat, well-designed worklight. Due to its compact size, it fits easily into cramped workspaces to light your work area. When not being used, it folds into a compact form factor that is easy to store. Out of the box, it was easy to set up and become familiar with all of its features. I tested the battery life and found that at a full charge, it lasted 3 1/2 hours until it got down to one bar on the battery meter, which indicated it was pretty dim. It does have a light bar to determine battery strength and to tell you when it is fully charged. The main drawback is the charging cord that comes with it is USB only. It doesn't come with a 110 plug to plug directly into an outlet for recharging.

Great light, very versatile. This light provides a very cool wide area of lighting that has an extremely flexible way to mount the light to get it just where you need it. Being as led light the battery will last a very long time. This light can be clamped to things or stand up such as on a table. Once the light is clamped to something or standing up, the light can be pulled out and swivel to get the light exactly where you need it. There are two brightness settings lets you select amount of light vs power consumption

1500-Lumens of LED Light on a versatile clamp/stand for a variety of applications in and around the house or work shop. It's rechargeable thought it's USB to Mico-USB (included) cord off a standard 5v/1ma USB output port or outlet adpater. There's a charge indicator, which also show remianing power during use, 3 hours on high and 6 for low. Have only found one down fall so far and that's hanging from a ""SMOOTH"" flat surface as the clamp slides, again the key word here was 'smooth' and flat. when hanging. Light output is great, 1500L (high) @ 6281K (Daylight) and it's light weight. compact and rated for outdoor use.

I love this Husky 1500-Lumen Rechargeable Clamp LED Work Light because it's so bright and so easy to use. As you can see in the picture, the clamp is wide enough to use on a 2x4. Even with the clam closed, the light is stable sitting on the rubber feet. The light is extremely bright and clear and white and focused. It makes it easy to see even in dark corners. I like that the light head articulates and rotates. The first push of the switch is fully bright. The second push emits a lower power light. The unit charges off a USB cord that comes with the light.

This is a great work light! The best feature is that it is rechargeable. I have had similar lights in the past that run on batteries...that they eat in a relatively short time. The two light settings, 750 and 1500 lumens, give an indication of battery life on the back. I also like the mount versatility. It clamps, stands and lays. The head swivels from any position. It is well designed and very well made. Another excellent offering from Husky! I love this thing!

INTENSELY BRIGHT work light. DO NOT look into the light! Thanks to it being powered by a rechargeable battery (A USB charging cord is included) this little giant can be positioned just about anywhere you need it to be to light up your work area. It can stand on a (reasonably level) surface or it can clamp itself to a shelf or board to provide you with the illumination you need. It also has a lower power setting when you don't need a full 1500 lumens flooding the area. It is also easy to set up in multiple configurations to fit in just about anywhere and also to store easily in a tool bag. There are two draw back to the design, though. The locking feature is a little finicky to engage until you figure out how best to do it for you and it is easily disengaged accidentally if you pick up the light from the area of the lock. Also the pads that act as both feet and clamp jaws could grip better. Although the spring is of good strength, the firm plastic, while textured, tends to slide. As a result the light can come crashing down when clamped to a finished shelf and will definitely slide on a metal pipe. A little rubberized no-skid pad (or repurposed no-slip drawer liner) fixes that problem.

Got this very versatile work light. The LED is very bright with 1500 lumens, but what I like best is the versatility. You can clamp it just about anywhere or the clamp part will lock open for you to set it on a flat surface. Then the light itself will adjust letting you shine up from the ground/below. It’s rechargeable so I don’t worry about batteries. Nice versatile bright light

This is the most versatile LED work light I have ever seen. It can sit on the base; be clamped to something or in a hanging position. In addition, the head can be adjusted to get the light where you actually need it. Light output is excellent (1500 lumen) and one lower setting. The device is heavier than it looks and I assume it's due to the hefty rechargeable battery having a maximum runtime of 6 hours (low) or 3 hours (high). A USB cable is included to recharge the battery but you will have to provide an AC adapter if charging from an outlet. Feature after feature plus a 3 year warranty. Check out the photos including the wire trace project where the work light is clamped to an I beam in the basement.

I’m a semi-retired I.T. tech and, while I try to leave running network cables to the younger crowd, sometimes I get stuck installing Cat6 cable where there’s no readily available source of light, or of electrical power. A headlamp helps, of course, but the new Husky 1004-557-118 model lamp with its rechargeable lithium-ion battery really fits the need. There are two levels of power, 1500 and 750 lumens (I’ve only used the lamp at the 1500 setting for real work, my old eyes need all of the help they can get). I ran a full charge on the lamp, then ran a full discharge at 1500 lumens. At nearly the four hour mark the available light had dropped to where it was obviously waning and the battery meter on the lamp showed 1 bar. After that I ran a full charge on the lamp and it took five hours to complete. I should note that while the Husky lamp comes with a micro-USB cable, it doesn’t come with the wall plug. I used a USB port that is built in to one of my surge suppressors and I’m not sure how much amperage the device delivers so your recharge time may vary depending on the charger used. Husky really should supply a charger with this lamp so that the user knows he/she is getting the highest recommended charging level. The stand/clamp is pretty clever but the one I received is very touchy – you want to keep your fingers out from between the two clamping sections. Also the tolerances for the swiveling/articulation part of the lamp are too tight – the lamp tends to catch on the housing when being swiveled or pushed out. Just a little more clearance would alleviate this problem. Overall it’s a very nice lamp and I found it very helpful in lighting up a crawl space. Husky offers a 3 year warranty and Home Depot has their 90-day return policy in effect. The finish is good but, as noted, the fit could be just a bit looser in order to function better. Of course this lamp is pretty new, and may ‘wear in’ as I use it more. Still, the clearance tightness and the lack of a ‘wall wart’ charger prevent me from giving the lamp a full five star review, which it would otherwise deserve. HTH Regards, Jim

Husky 1500-Lumen Rechargeable Clamp LED Work Light is a great improvement over their previous version. It’s mostly plastic, but it is a heavier duty plastic. So it still has some heft to it. It does use metal where it’s needed for example the locking mechanism that keeps the clamping legs separate to create the legs for the light to be sit up on its own. The Pros start with it is really bright. Bright enough to leave it leave the light 5-8 feet from the work area and still have enough light to work by. The clamp is also strong enough to leave it hang upside down without issue. The light head unit has a really good range of motion which really helps when you are working in a really confined area. The size is roughly 6”x6”x2” which can easily be thrown into a tool bag and built in rechargeable batteries. It comes with a USB cable. The Cons aren’t many but starts with the hair trigger locking mechanism. I almost got my finger clamped on twice because I accidentally barely touched the switch while adjusting the light head unit. Like I had mentioned earlier it comes with a USB cable … it doesn’t come with a power adapter. Yeah, I know just about everyone has like a dozen of them in a drawer somewhere, but I want thirteen of them in that draw. Not really, I am thinking of that old guy buying this light to replace his old one which has finally given up the ghost and can’t be repaired anymore. I feel good about recommend this light. It there aren’t any deal breakers. I wish this had magnets on it so I can attach it metal studs or furnace walls. I would also like the latch to be a bit tighter, and it would be nice if it had a charging block. Other than that it’s a really good light for a fair price.

This is a really amazing light. It has two settings - bright and blindingly bright. Charging is by micro usb, so you can recharge it anywhere. It is small enough to fit in a toolbox or glove compartment. When not in use, the light head folds inside the stand. When extended, the light can swivel in any direction. The stand can be used either as a clamp-on, or you can lock it open into a tiny sawhorse and stand it on any flat surface. In a pinch, you can even stand it on its head. The only thing missing is a dedicated hand grip. A light like this is good for all sorts of night-time activities. Perfect for fishing. You could also clip it to the lawnmower.

This is a bright work light with built in clamping capability but I found that the weight of the unit prohibits clamping from the side or upside down. The clamp spring is not strong enough to hold the weight of the light. It does have a locking mechanism to keep the clamp open and the clamp capacity is about 2 1/4 inches. The light tilts from front to back and can be rotated to get the beam where it's needed. This work light also comes with a USB charging cord as so many do these days and I often wonder why manufacturers don't design the unit with a cord storage area so it doesn't get lost.

I love this lamp. First off, I really think every home should have a good clamp light. They're incredible versatile and useful. This one steps it up, but not just being a clamp light, but by being a rechargeable unit, and thus cordless. It's also incredibly bright, at 1500 lumens. Yes, it is a little top heavy when trying to get it to stand but itself, but you can. The light swivels all around, has two different brightness level, and folds very compactly for storage. It clamps on nicely, and can be locked in a triangle, and since the rubber "feet" rotate, it makes it very sturdy, and closer to a lantern. The light charges with an included micro-usb. It also has lights that indicate the charging level. A very good lamp to have on-hand.

This is a really well made and well thought out product. The light itself is extremely bright and since it’s led it doesn’t put out any heat. Where this light really sets itself apart is with all the additional features. It has a power indicator on the back so you can always tell how much charge is left and won’t be left in the dark and it has two brightness settings, which is great because it is EXTREMELY bright. The base for this light is awesome. You can clamp it onto brands or edges and the clamp also converts easily into a stand for flat surfaces. Great idea and executed perfectly

Husky made a great clamp work light! The LED bulb is bright and provides excellent battery life. The light head pivots 360 degrees providing precise beam aiming. The head folds flat for compact storage yet provides flexibility in placement of the light and in hands free operation. The light can be clamped securely to most pipes, doors, 2x4s, etc., it can be hung, and the base can be locked open to stand. The unit has a heavy ABS plastic case. You can select from two levels of light from the rear mounted switch button. High 1500 lumens, with a run time of 3 hours, or low 750 lumens with a run time of 6 hours on a single charge. A great feature is this light is that its rechargeable using a standard USB charging port with a 5v 1a wall adaptor (not included). Unit comes with a USB charging cord. A four LED battery indicator lets you know the status of the charge both in operation and while charging. This is an excellent addition to your home or auto tool box. It is highly versatile and can fit in most places. It stays where you clamp it – yet the base doesn’t mare or scratch the surface. The Husky clamp work light is rated to withstand up to a 3 meter fall and is weather resistant. The light comes with a three-year limited warranty.

Versatile, bright (two settings), sturdy clamp that opens wider than others I researched. Much more expensive than many others but am glad I invested in this product. Have only used it half a dozen times for perhaps a total of three hours (on low) but battery indicator still shows full.

Very bright light holds the charge but they should include the plug for the cord.
