This ducting comes in a 25 ft. length, which is definitely helpful for projects in which you need a lengthier ducting. The ducting is flexible and seems to be well-made, as even with working with it and often shifting its position it held up and didn't break apart or tear whatsoever. With that said, the product is easy enough to cut and shape down if needed. I would recommend to anyone who needed a quality, lengthier ducting for any home improvement project.

This worked out great for my project. I have a lake cottage and the crawl space get really humid so I needed to install a fan in a tight space with the need to blow the air through a small section so it ventilates the entire space. This worked perfectly because it's long enough and flexible. Now I have air circulating underneath the cottage and hopefully will prevent moisture/mold.

This 6 inch duct will work very well for the remodel project in my basement. It is well made, aluminum over steel wore. It is flexible, and sketches 25 feet. It will be used in 2 pieces to extend the hot and cold air ducts in my basement, to aid in the 2 new rooms I'm currently building. It works great, is easy to cut, and easy to install. It is very cost effective to use.

If you've got a project where you need a long length of 6 inch diameter non-insulated ducting then this is a good option. It's well made and it comes well packed in a heavy duty cardboard box so it's unlikely that it will show up damaged. This type of ducting is not intended for venting clothes dryers or other heated applications, only for air exchange such as bathroom fans etc.

This review is for a 25 foot long 6" diameter non-insulating duct hose. This duct is made of aluminum and is flexible. It has a 6" diameter which works great as our dryer vent hose. The duct can be bent around corners and doesn't kink easily. The duct does not have insulation and being made of aluminum, it will transmit heat from the air inside the duct to outside of the duct. The length of the hose is 25 feet, but we didn't need that long of a length, so I cut it shorter. The material cuts easily and the cut end fit into the vent tube. I was told that the old dryer vent (made of a soft material) was not safe to use, due to the lint getting stuck in the grooves of the hose. This duct has grooves also, but they are not as deep and due to the interior being aluminum, I feel the lint won't stick to sides as much as the soft material. I recommend this vent tube for both the quality of the tube and the safety of having smaller and slicker grooves.

Works great! This is "accordion style" so it expands easily to 25ft! Amazing, considering it starts off at about 12" long. NASA tech for sure. Used this to run a vent for a new fan I installed in our first bathroom. Old exhaust fan simply blew into the attic. Now - thanks to this, the air makes it all the way to the outside where it belongs. Super easy to install for a moderate DIY-er. If you have a good amount of attic space, (which I do) it make things easy.

The non-insulated feature will allow it to pick up heat from the surrounding air and transfer it to another area. The best way to hang this is to get some lawn chair webbing from a thrift store. Any type will do. This is handy for moving non-insulated air around. It is not smooth on the inside do I do not recommend using it for a dryer vent. It will work great for a bathroom or a kitchen vent.

6” by 25’ none insulated ducking Very good non isolated ducking, it is good for any ventilation purposes. (Do not uses with warm moist air as it can produce condensation that will look like something is leaking?) Personally I used with large 12 inch diameter exhaust fan and reducer to 6” to ventilate the fumes out of my garage resulting from working on cars during the winter time. Duct was perfect to reach into the outside via the side window that I retrofit with 2.75” pink foam with 6” hole. Best of all it is flexible so I can put away after I’m done with car and it does not take much space. It can be used as a decorative pieces or make your fake robot costume endless uses.

I am old school and installed convectional galvanized ducted but this ducting is so easy to install. I should have tried it a lot sooner. It is compact for easy transport and expands to 25 feet long. It is great for heat, air conditionings, addict and basement. Easy to connect to vents, furnace and air conditioners. no need for elbows. The best thing is it is insulated and duct tape is all you need to fasten it. I hope this helps with your decision. Good luck with all your projects.

A couple years ago, I bought another brand of this 25' Ducting from Home Depot. It worked fine, until something fell on it and put a hole in it. The previous brand included 2 metal hose clamps, but since I could reuse those, I got this instead; It was a little cheaper than what I paid for the other. I am using it to vent warm ceiling air, from my wood stove on the first floor, to my basement; to prevent my plumbing from freezing and let the warm air radiant heat the floors. My basement is one open room. So, warm air spreads out easier. Works great!

I got this duct to replace a shorter one for a portable air conditioner. It's covered in aluminum foil and looks very space-age. It wasn't designed to go with the portable A/C unit I have, so I had to rig it using wood strips and lots of duct tape! However, it works great, and didn't tear like a another brand I bought at HD.
