They are ripped up T-shirts and stuff. If you use them like we do to wipe stain, caulk, epoxy, etc where a rag has to be thrown away after, then these are great. If you are expecting something that looks like a facecloth or mechanics rag, you will be greatly disappointed lol. They are what they are and they are cheap with free shipping. I buy 100 lbs every 3 months or so for our woodworking shop.

    Junk
For all cotton rags, my box was mostly huge sheets of polyester blends. Throwing it away and getting something that has some consistency and is what is advertised.

Many of These rags are very small and many are stuck together. Also they don’t seem to be that clean and look soiled like they were laying around a some dirty area Most likely would not reorder. I’ve bought and used clean white cotton rags for years never had this problem

I used the rags for wiping stain off wood. Most of the gags were not suitable for this purpose. Most are very small, narrow strips.

These things are great for the price and quantity. They’re old, cut up, white t-shirts and stuff. I use them for removing wood stain in my shop. It’s silly seeing people complain about them being different sizes. They’re rags, for crying out loud!

Although it doesn't specify I assumed these rags would be for absorbing oils and other uses in the garage. The problem I have with this product is about half are a synthetic, spandex type material and that type of rag does nothing when it comes to absorbing or removing oils, grease, solvents and other things used in the garage. Actually, I can't think of anything synthetic cloth is good for as a rag.

As another reviewer said, they are pieces of cloth like ripped up t-shirts. The size varies from about the size of a torn out back of a t-shirt to about half a handkerchief. I bought one box in 2013, and I'm still using the same cloths. They are durable and wash easily with bleach. Mostly, I use them for housecleaning. I keep a bucket of them in a closet and use them for everything but the countertops in the kitchen. I don't like to get other sources of dirt there. If I'm planning to houseclean, I throw a bucket in the wash, but don't dry them. They have the perfect moisture content for all sorts of jobs. I like to wash the kitchen floor on my hands and knees. I spray the floor with a bottle of water and a few drops of Dr. Bonner's soap. No putting dirty bucket water back on the floor or carrying a bucket of water that can slosh over the sides. When a cloth gets dirty, I leave it on the floor and pick them all up when I'm done. They are excellent for baseboards. Because I can frequently change cloths, I don't get any dirt on the baseboards. I polish the cabinets with a cloth and a couple drops of vegetable oil. I wipe down walls while frequently changing cloths. They are good for windows or cleaning mirrors in the bathroom. As I work my way through a room starting from the top down, I throw the cloths on the floor and pick them up when I'm done. When I paint, I keep a couple damp ones close. I clean the oven by putting a wet paste of baking soda on the bottom and letting it sit for an hour. Then I use these cloths to clean out the paste. It forms crumbles that aren't messy, and I can catch them on a piece of newspaper. A damp cloth works perfectly for dusting. When it gets dirty, I pick up another one. No need for any sprays. If a person likes to use Pledge or something, use a dry cloth. After five years of using this type of cloth, I'm still on the original box. By the way, it saves to buy most cleaning supplies at Home Depot. They are cheaper than the supermarket and generally a bigger size. While I'm there, I take a walk through the store to get ideas for another project.
