Lots of little nuts & bolts that are easy to get mixed up - directions are not very clear. Once it was put together - nice, sturdy swing.

After reading all the positive reviews decided to purchase this model and so glad we did. Well built and very sturdy with a great warranty.

Good assembly instructions, assembles easy, wife impressed with the good looks (swing) and I noticed unlike others this one is in a comfortable reclining position.

It is comfortable and it looks great hanging in our patio. I enjoying looking at it as much as sitting in it.

Delivered intact. All hardware included. It looks rally good. Looking forward to putting it up (as soon as the weather permits. I'm actually very happy with it.

The swing was not very easy to assemble. Recommend having 2 people. However, once assembled it looks great!

If you are looking for a functional porch or yard swing, this is a good selection. Now for the 1 star rating. I ordered the swing on Sept. 5, 2020. The swing arrived promptly at my home. That is the good part. The reason for the 1 star is this - in the first swing box I ordered, there were 3 split / cracked boards. I returned the box to Home Depot and ordered another swing. Again prompt delivery. In the box were 2 more boards that were cracked. Jack Post Co. sent replacement boards for the cracked boards under warranty. The swing is listed as made of hardwood boards. In the two swing sets I ordered, there were about 1/2 the boards from Hardwood trees and 1/2 the boards from Sapwood ( very light weight boards ). When I weighed the boards on my fish scale the 2 inch wide hardwood boards weighed about 2 lbs. each. and the remainder of the 2 inch wide sapwood boards weighed 1 Lb. The smaller 1 inch wide boards were 1 lb. hardwood boards and the other 1/2 of the 1 inch boards weighed about 8 oz. I have had several contacts about this sapwood - pallet grade wood - in the box with hardwood with upper managment. Upper managment at Jack Post assured me the wood was Hardwood and had a weight tolerance of _+/- about 5 % weight variation between the same size hardwood boards. That tolerance was put in writing by managment. I have yet to recieve an explanation on why there is a +/- 100% weight difference between the same size hardwood boards and the sapwood boards that should not be in the box. 2 lb. / 1 lb. weight on the same size boards. I have my own theory about the weight of the boards being so far out of tolerance, but I will let you decide. There is a 3 year warranty on the swing and I am trying to get the junk pallet grade boards replaced with the advertised hardwood boards. If Home Depot reads this review then maybe they can get a clear answer for the advertised wood descrepancy.

My 91 year old grandmother LOVES her swing. She and my mother sit in the yard every evening and "people watch"...lol. At times like this, it really is the simple things that matter. The boards are not super heavy but sturdy "enough" for them. Honestly for the price, I am very very pleased with my purchase.

Needs stronger chains

I was happy with the design and the look. I and my husband have been swinging in it. Brings back memories of childhood.

We love this swing! Got it put together in a couple of hours, all the parts and screws were there, nothing was missing. It is perfect hanging on our covered patio and we have spent many hours sitting in it already. Thanks for the perfect hanging swing!

I haven’t put it together yet, I will in the spring!!
