Home Depot online has been great to work with. ...
Home Depot online has been great to work with. We rated it good because the flushing doesn’t always clean out all the waste. Many times there is just a small residue left which is a little annoying. Nothing major. Looks are great came as promised. Lid does close silently and the height is good.

Kohler is ALMOST 100% without problems ..
The Dev. toilet was purchased for a client, and this was the FIRST Kohler product I have ever purchased in 20 yrs. that had to be returned because the tank lost a gallon of water per hour. However, the replacement toilet works wonderfully .... this just cost me unbillable time for the order, pick up, delivery, pick up and return to the store.
Generally, Kohler products are excellent! Both beautiful and functionally.

Good toilet but...
Liked this toilet just fine until the first time it clogged. Due to the design of the bowl a plunger will not seal and is completely ineffectual. There is a small trough that causes the problem. Something to watch out for on other models too.

Hi Bw, my name is Sarah from Kohler Co. I am sorry to read you are having trouble with your Kohler Devonshire toilet. We would suggest using a Force Cup Plunger which will allow you to get proper suction on this toilet. A plunger of this style can be seen online here: http://goo.gl/6oNRRt We would like to make a few recommendations that may help to prevent future clogs. The chain connecting to the trip lever should be taut. If there is any slack, it should be tightened to remove the slack. The water level can also be checked. The water level in the tank should be at the water line which is marked on the inside back wall of the tank or on the flush valve. The refill tube can be checked as well. It should be connected at both ends connecting the fill valve to the center of the canister valve. If either end is disconnected, it should be pushed back into place. Great looking toilet and flush performance but not easy to installall
I bought it due to its looking luxury and the water surface is larger (9" x 11") than most brands for elongated toilets. I installed an American Standard 4 Max Champion for my master bath. I installed this Kohler in my 1/2 bath. It has powerful flush and uses only 1.28GPF. The installation is harder compare to my American Standard 4 Max Champion which no tool is needed. Kohler's tank uses three 1/2" screws. The one on the center back is hard to tight. You must have a deep socket to turn these nuts. It has base bolt cover caps but does not have screws or plastic nuts.

Kohler Toilet
All was well until the bolts that secure it to the screws were too big. Had to go buy correct sized bolts! :(
Also, for the price, don't you think it should have had a seat??
