Not for me.
Returned it before installing due to the reviews (several) for it to leak. I don’t want to install anything that most likely will require servicing or replacement.

Rusts and leaks
It has only been about eight months since installing. You have to use Kohler specific parts. I do not recommend this product because my shower handle and tub faucet have both rusted. The matte black chips off easily. Not only that, but the system leaks. Dripping comes from my shower head and from my tub faucet. There’s no way something so new and expensive should already have these kinds of issues. Buyer beware!

    If you like hot showers, AVOID THIS FAUCET!
    Before the Kohler customer support rep pipes up, read this! This faucet features the Rite-Temp valve which is a fancy way of saying that you can't exceed a certain temperature NO MATTER WHAT. My water heater is set at 135, yet this faucet maxes output at about 108 degrees WITH THE TEMP COLLAR REMOVED! This faucet will not get you to a hot steamy shower after a hard work day, and barely gets you a luke-warm bath after the tub warms up. Stay away from Kohler Rite-Temp products!

      Absolute Trash!
      This shower complement is absolute trash. It leaks behind the tub spout and the shower head. Just like all other reviews say. The components look nice but are not functional. So disappointed especially with something at this price point.

This is nothing you should expect when you choose Kohler. Please verify if tightening the showerhead and additional 1/8 turn correct the issue of the leaking and that sealant tape was used. Please also ensure that there was copper piping used between the valve and the spout and that the pipping is 4-3/4"-5" from the wall.         For the price, I was expecting something better . Shower head is fragile, all plastic, the trims for the handle and everything else is all plastic. Except for the tub nose. It’s easy to damage.

          Surprisingly, This Kohler Product Is Rubbish
          This tub & shower faucet kit is substantially built and beautifully finished. Its internal quality, specifically the 8305 valve cartridge, is decidedly inferior. Less than 5 months after purchase one of my faucets began a substantial drip. Overnight this resulted in a massive calcium deposit on my black tiled shower wall. The REPLACEMENT valve cartridge leaks too. Installing this product could easily require a plumbers visit, and new cartridge, 2 or three times a year, every year!

            Not to Standard; Buyer Beware
            The instructions provided are incorrect when it comes to installing the diverter spout. It says that the pipe from the wall should be between 4 1/4 in to 5 in. That is not correct. The pipe should not be no more than 4 1/4 in from the wall, otherwise you will have a 1/2 gap between the wall and the faucet plate. The slip-fit connector for the diverter spout does not seal properly, you will have leaks. Overall this product is a waste of time, go buy another brand and save yourself the headache!

              The valve was faulty and had to be replaced, which Kohler sent us a new one (1-week later). Once it was replaced it stopped leaking through the tub faucet. But it looks fantastic and doesn't leak now.

                DO NOT BUY! FLOOD WARNING
                This unit is for cheap flippers who want something that looks good and is easy to install. The downside to it being "easy to install" is that, in my case, the connection mechanism (not threaded onto a pipe, it's just a screw on bare copper pipe holding back the water pressure pushing the spout away from the wall) failed and caused a flood in my wall and in the spaces beneath my unit.

                    Brand new installation. Water just continually leaks inside then runs down wall. Worst design I’ve ever seen. Shower head is very flimsy plastic. Now of course all the expense for installing it means there’s nothing I can do. Hate this product.

                      After buying 2 different version of this same faucet, it still leaks from the bottom of the tub faucet when the show is running. My GC followed the directions exactly and I bought another one to see if it was a faulty unit. Even the new one leaked.

                      I Should Have Read The Reviews
                      I had to replace the shower valve in my bathroom so I decided to update the whole fixture. I had a plumber install this and then I had to have someone come back and replace with a Moen because it was so bad. I lost a lot of water pressure in the shower with this valve and temperature never got above slightly warm. Don’t buy this.

                          Leaking at Tub spout due to slip fitting
                          I am having the same problems others reported with the slip fitting on the tub spout not sealing, this is one of the poorest designs I have ever seen and is clearly a known issue that Kohler continues to ignore.
