Best sink ever
This sink was seriously the best decision ever. It is very light weight which made installation very easy. The sink is very deep, which makes it so easy to wash over-sized pans and bowls. The sink does not stain or scratch, it is very easy to keep clean. It does not come with the drain, that will have to be purchased separately. This sink makes my kitchen. I would definitely recommend this product.

Loving the new sink
We replaced a very nice two-sided stainless sink with this one. Installation was easy since the cutout was already the correct size. The sink weighs about 45 pounds and does not move much once inserted. Don't use a lot of sealant under the edge. The lip is flat and wide, so it lays completely flat and any extra sealant oozes out. The single tub design is nice and adds a lot of extra room in the same space because you do not have the middle divider. It is also a little deeper than the old one. Overall, it looks great and has more room. Definitely recommend it.

Durable, but that's about it
I was initially so excited to have found a direct replacement for my Kohler cast iron set-in sink. This Kohler Kennon sink had the very same dimensions (33" wide by 22" deep). And because it could be top-mounted or under-mounted, I knew it would work one way or the other. I also liked the singe-bowl design, which might be a throwback to years ago but is really more versatile. Finally, the durable composite material seemed like a good idea, after having seen my cast iron sink pick up chips and stains. But here's the problem: this sink just doesn't look that good. Basically, it looks and feels like plastic. Really, really heavy plastic, but plastic nonetheless. And it has an odd textured surface, which I was really surprised at, and which you cannot see in the marketing photos. I have included some close-up photos showing this surface and its many imperfections, but if you are at all unsure, you should really try to see this material in person to make sure it's what you want. In addition, I found that the edge of the sink was totally ragged and uneven, making a top-mount application really unattractive. I was surprised that Kohler would allow this to pass quality control. The last strike against this sink was that the black textured surface picked up a tremendous amount of debris - dust showed very clearly on it, and all sorts of material ends up ground into the surface, which is then hard to clean because it is not smooth. Basically, the only consumers I'd recommend this sink to are those looking for a durable, builder-grade sink in a rental unit. I think it would be very hard to damage this sink, but it would also be really hard to make it look fantastic. And unfortunately, it costs as much as many fantastic-looking sinks.

Very nice looking sink, Now that it is in, we really like it. No idea how well it will hold up to nicks or chips. It is a solid casting so I'm hoping it lasts longer than the cast iron porcelain Kohler it replaced. Warning, during installation I discovered that the drain holes did match up with old sink by a couple of inches! I had to purchase and redo part of the drain plumbing to finish the install. Never have had this happen in 3 previous sink replacements, and there was no mention of it in the install information. Neither was there any care or cleaning information.

The sink looks very nice. It's a clean design with the curves and single mounting hole. We mounted a black Vigo faucet on it - which looks awesome but was much more difficult to get working. The sink is lightweight and easy to work with. We replaced a white enameled cast iron sink with this one so it was a great upgrade in appearance. The sink is very easy to clean. Its finish looks a little like textured plastic but it seems quite durable. We have not scratched it yet - but we are being careful not to. We bought a rubber mat that was hung by the sinks that we lay over the center divider to keep it from getting scratched up when doing dishes or working at the sink.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
We kind of went sideways into replacing the counter top of our Kitchen and ended up with replacing the sink. It all started when our cook top went on the blink and we got a new stove and had to replace the counter where the cooktop had been and of course it didn't match the other half of the Kitchen so we replaced that and the existing sink looked bad so we got this sink. .Opening the box we were greeted with an absolutely beautiful looking sink with only one hole in it for the faucet set to fit into. We expected this but were confident we could knock out the knock outs and be in business. The holes are well marked and pre scored from the bottom, What could go wrong??. We did not find the little sink bottom protector in the box that the product copy had said would be there. So we cut the hole in the top and set the sink in and it looked good, took it out and caulked the top and put it back in , still looked good. Then it was time to knock out the holes for the faucet set and , tap tap crack , the flange in the back began to crack. Profanity ensued. I got out the hole saw and finished the holes and we installed it any way. It looks good if you don't look too close. I hope that the tendency for leaving water spots will go away eventually. I can only recommend this sink if you are using a one hole faucet set with it.

Kohler Kennon Dual Mount
This Kohler sink can be mounted top or under mount style. A rather unique feature is the knock-outs, where this sink can be used for 1,2,3, or 4 holes. I have included a picture showing the knock-outs. Be aware if your plans are to under mount, especially in a stone like granite, it's probably not a DIY project since you'll want the counter to be shaped with equal reveal of the sink. The soft curves are a nice touch. After having a sink with actual corners, where it's difficult to clean. You'll truly appreciate this Kohler product. The Good: + Top or under mount choice. + Soft curves, easy to clean with no real corners. + Choice of how many holes you need for your application. + Beautiful color, being solid throughout. + Not too deep, but deeper bowls than standard being of 9" deep each. The Not So Good: - No sink clips included if needed for under mounting. Although no clips are included for under mounting, I would highly suggest using a sink harness if under mounting instead of clips. I do wish this included a grate for at least one bowl side so when doing dishes by hand. I realize you can purchase this accessory separately and would increase the price if included. Also, like many other sinks, you must purchase the drains separately since there are so many options. I actually like Kohler does not include these, since each person's choice may not like what's provided. And, some like myself may feel you're paying for something you're not going to use. This is a highly recommended product.

Great for a Quick Upgrade
My wife and I have been working on a kitchen remodel for quite some time. We finally found a beautiful slab of quartzite for the counter tops. It just happened to be extremely expensive and would be over the top compared to the rest of our home. Rather than scrap the remodel we decided to upgrade the sink, disposal, and faucet. This Kohler Kennon sink is as beautiful as it is sturdy and functional. I like how it can use a one hole faucet or a three hole faucet. Installation is straight forward. After this upgrade we may even ditch the idea of new counter tops altogether.

High Quality and Very Attractive Kitchen SInk
I am upgrading the kitchen and decided to replace the old sink with a Kohler Kennon Topmount/UnderMount Neoroc Double Bowl Sink. The color is matt black and it has a textured surface. It comes with a single hole for the faucet, but has three knockouts for accommodating a 3-hole faucet and soap dispenser. We chose to install a soap dispenser on the sink. After using the sink for several weeks, I am quite impressed with both its aesthetics and functionality. The textured finish is designed to resist scratches and scuffs and does not show water stains. The composite material also reduces vibration and sound from the garbage disposal. The instructions call for using a center punch and hammer for knocking out the dispenser hole. However we chose to use a diamond-tipped hole saw to avoid possible damage from using a hammer and punch. The hole saw went through the dense composite material like butter. The Kohler Kennon Neoroc Kitchen Sink is a high quality product and should provide many years of use. The option for using it as either a top and undermount sink is a bonus. Highly Recommended.

Fantastic sink
The Kennon Top-Mount/Undermount Neoroc 33 in. Single-Hole Double Bowl Kitchen Sink in Matte Brown was the perfect fit for my sister-in-law's kitchen renovation. The brown color matched and complemented her countertop perfectly. Installation was a breeze, and keeping it clean will be simple. The Neoroc material repels water and debris very well. Everyone is very happy with this sink!

Not cool - if there’s an issue FIX IT!
This really makes me crazy! I may very well buy this sink because it’s on clearance but it makes me crazy to see that when somebody has a problem. The customer service person says oh sorry contact our customer service. Are you serious right now? They did contact you and you pushed them in another direction, which is disgusting. STOP telling people they have to now take another step to fix the problem/ contact customer service. What a horrible thing to say! They just told you what’s up- fix it!

I just found out that this sink is not a true under mount sink. The paperwork says you can undermount it , but the counter top wont line up on the sides.

Hi momo, this is Paige with Kohler Co. I am sorry to hear that your Kennon sink has developed white scratches. We put a lot of thought into our products, so it is unfortunate whenever we do not meet a customer's expectations. For our Neoroc sinks, we recommend applying 1 or 2 teaspoons of a food grade mineral oil to a clean, dry cloth. Wipe the sink thoroughly with the cloth to evenly distribute the oil in a thin layer. Allow it to sit for a minute, then buff away the excess oil. We also advise the use of our Neoroc cleaner (K-23730-NA) as well as sink racks (K-6109-ST and K-5376-ST) to protect the basin of the sink. For additional assistance, please contact our Customer Service team at KohlerCustServ@kohler.com. Kindly, Paige S. -Kohler Customer Service.

The sink in the black matte color really matches my countertops and I love that it has 2 bowls. It was easy to install as well and had no problems with the setup.
