poor design
Primary waste drain and hole are larger than can be covered by a standard plunger. If the toilet becomes clogged, a standard plunger is ineffective as it doesn’t cover the holes to effectively push water down the hole and waste pipe. Do not purchase if you’re intending on flushing anything down the toilet.

Not terrible but a few things need addressing
Overall the toilet is solid and the look is beautiful. The seat it not terribly comfortable and I will be looking for a new higher end seat. Also the flush handle is cheap feeling. For $400 to $500 is expect a solid brass handle that doesn't flop around but has a crisp motion to it. I will also be replacing this with a new mechanism.

Memoir Toilet - mystery
Hi, Purchased 2 of these toilets, love the look. One functions perfectly. The other is already malfunctioning and I can't figure out problem - fresh water flows out of hole in middle very strongly sometime spraying outside of toilet. Can't find any technical customer support materials indicating how to solve this problem. The other problem is under rim flow of water must be inadequate as constant grim under rim that needs to be cleaned. This does not happen with the other toilet.

Long history of good service with Kohler
I recently replaced our 22 year old toilet with a newer model and I was able to get the same decorator pattern I had originally that matched the original ! Very happy! Years ago in a previous remodel , in a different home, the first toilet installed was incorrect. I was able to make an exchange right away with no additional cost thanks to Kohlers satisfaction guarantee! I have a LONG history with Kohler products and I have never been disappointed!

bowl issues
purchased this toilet in October, 2021 and almost immediately, things started adhering to the bowl even after flushing. Almost like the interior of the bowl had a rough finish rather than smooth. I've had 20 year old toilets that didn't do this. Tank part is fine. For the price, the bowl is a piece of junk.

There are often minor adjustments that can be made in your toilet tank to ensure it flushes and cleans the bowl properly. You will want to ensure the chain that comes off of the canister flush valve is taut. There should be no slack in the chain (1-2 links at most). The black refill tube in the toilet should be connected on both ends; from the fill valve to the top of the canister flush valve. The water level in the tank should also be to the waterline marking listed on the canister flush valve.
