Kohler Discont'd Persuade Toilet A Winner Still
Bought this Toilet to match one installed in 2011. Deducted one star because two fittings were missing, resulting in a 2nd trip by HD plumber 10 days later. On goods over $500 HD should verify container contents. Some compensation would be a bonus.

The elongated shape was perfect for our kids bathroom, making more room between the toilet, bathtub and sink. And if you have kids, you will appreciate “no splashing” due again to its shape. A bonus: it’s beautiful. Highly recommend it.

I was so delighted to find a narrow toilet that would fit my space. Being a Kohler I assumed it would be great. However, I’m so disappointed. The bowl water level is so low that it is ALWAYS dirty after anyone goes #2! Installer said this is not adjustable—just something I have to deal with! For the first time Kohler let me down!

Hi SOOZ, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm sorry to hear your Persuade Curv toilet isn't cleaning the bowl adequately upon each flush. We would like to make a few suggestions to improve the performance of the flush. The water level should be adjusted to ensure it is at the water level line. This line may be indicated on the back of the tank, or on the flush valve. The rim feed tube should also be checked to ensure both ends are connected. If either end is disconnected, it can be pushed back in place to connect the fill valve to the flush valve. We would like to connect with you to ensure the issue gets resolved. This is the second one of this Persuade model we have purchased and are extremely pleased with it...
This is the second one of this Persuade model we have purchased and are extremely pleased with it. The skirted approach looks very sleek and cleaning is much easier without the old "bolt caps" which always come loose when cleaning around the base. I must say that the installation is a small bit challenging as it is quite different from traditional toilet bases but not hard if you follow the directions carefully.
Pricing and pickup were great.
