dont' buy it
I purchased this along with the Pureflo drain K-373983. My plumber couldn't get the trim handle to rotate clockwise. We pushed in as instructed, but the handle wouldn't turn clockwise. I called Kohler and was advised to just turn it harder, it's a known issue being hard to turn. I couldn't turn it by hand and when I used a wrench the plastic stem of the handle broke. Something is wrong, it should not take extreme force to turn the handle. And the instructions that come with it don't help.

Wrong size
I accidentally wore the finish off my original drain stopper with cleaning products. I ordered the replacement part but it’s not the same.

I purchased the Kohler bath drain by default . I purchased a Kohler tub and shower faucet combination in brushed gold and wanted to complete my installation. I was shocked and disappointed that Kohler does not make a drain closure in brushed gold to complete the suite. Instead I was stuck buying brushed nickel. Yes it functions but did I want that finish ? NO did they give me an option? NO. Kohler was not even able to provide a matching faucet fixture for a 3 hole sink. Pfister had to provide that in a similar finish. Kohler should be the go to in all plumbing needs. Sadly it’s only half way there

Missing washer for turn handle- won’t stay open !
This is pretty and affordable - easy to use - BUT I can’t get the turn knob to work because it did t come with the big washer- it wont stay in without it . I have to see how to get the missing part. Would be great if it worked ! Kohler- please help .

Hello Ric, my name is Tiffany with Kohler Co. The stopper can be adjusted for each individual application. To adjust the stopper, remove it from the bath, loosen the nut, adjust the screw to the desirable length and retighten the nut. The overflow can also be adjusted for your installation. Loosen the setscrew on the overflow trim, and twist out the stem to the length suitable for your bath, and retighten the set screw into the slot on the stem.
