Great looking, but the flow is too low and insufficient for consistent cleaning.

We would like to make a few suggestions that we feel will help to improve the cleanliness of your flush. The chain connecting to the trip lever should be taut. If there is any slack, it should be tightened to remove the slack. The water level can also be checked. The water level in the tank should be at the water line which is marked on the inside back wall of the tank or on the flush valve. The refill tube can be checked as well. It should be connected at both ends connecting the fill valve to the center of the canister valve. If either end is disconnected, it should be pushed back into place. The lines of the toilet are sharper so the toilet overall looks more modern than Kohler’s previous iterations of low-tank height toilets. The reason for the average rating is because of the toilet seat that comes with it. It comes with the Reveal series seat, which in my opinion is poorly designed. When the lid is down, there is no good way to lift up both the lid and the seat in one motion. The lid completely conceals the seat, and the seat sits within the top edge of the toilet rim, so there is no access to the seat when the lid is down. So to lift up both the lid and seat, one must either wedge their fingers under the seat (between the seat and raw edge of the toilet rim) thereby having to touch the raw edge of the toilet rim (gross), or do it in two motions — lift up the lid, and then reach down again and lift up the seat using its inner edge.
I really don’t understand how Kohler did not consider this use case. As a male who has to lift up both the lid and seat to go #1, this toilet seat is a non-starter for me. Definitely going to have to get another seat to replace it.

Nice looking toilet. Box was in bad shape when I picked it up and open. No toilet bolts and no wax ring.

I love it. Beautiful and modern design, was easy to install. I really wanted a 1.6 GPF but couldn’t find it in something small enough for my powder room but no issues with the 1.28.

Love this! Love the color. It’s a very deep grey and sets off my light grey bathroom. It’s also very efficient especially compared to what I had.

I do have to say that I hate the toilet seat.
Kohler tried to make it seem as if they came up with a newer better update for the seat. They went backwards not forward.
I'd ask them why they would make it so that when one is lifting the lid the seat can accidentally be grabbed with it.
Even the thought of that is unhygienic not to mention very annoying.
If the toilet set can be replaced for me with another I'd be grateful.
Really it was foolishness on Kohler to put out this kind of seat.

Order came within an estimated time period and the packaging was excellent. This was a great fit for our smallest guest bathroom. Soft close seat is a great option. Flushing lever is somewhat wobbly and it feels like it will fall of :) toilet has compact shape and I love a look of the skirt less design.

So far it is working just fine, unlike the old one which could not be kept from running all the time no matter how hard my plumber tried. It's not as pretty as the old design and I was really sorry not only not to be able to get the old darker almond color but to have to pay so much even for the biscuit, but that's the price of being so fussy, I guess.

Quality is not what it use to be
Toilet only came with 1 bolt cover, toilet flusher does not work you can flush but it will not go back up called a customer service again and they have to send out replacement parts for a brand new toilet.
I pay a plumber to do this work so now for a 2nd time I have to pay a plumber because of Kohler’s lack of quality that they are now making their products with.

We replaced our main bathroom with Kohler San Souci 1- piece 1.28GPF. It is elegant and efficient. Guests have all commented on this toilet, "nice toilet". Very pleased with this Kohler toilet.

Purchased this item for a complete bathroom remodel. Very happy with the ease of installation. With the increased height, it is much easier to sit down and get up off of the seat. The improved flushing system works well - no problems with clogs. The full skirt around the outside makes for easier cleaning.

The bowl is kind of small and it looks less aesthetic than the old Kohler that I was replacing out. For the price it is not worth it. I would get a Toto instead.
