Does Not Drain Naturally
The grate was the primary reason for buying this particular sink. However, the sink is flat and even when using a hose to move the food particles down the drain, they don't move. That means removing the grate at least once a day. I do recommend buying the same unit with the drain hole at the corner of the sink and manufactured to drain accordingly.

All of our sinks are engineered and designed slope along the base to help guide water toward the drain. A relatively flat sink bottom increases usable bowl space and allows dishes and glasses to be safely stacked.

This is a game changer!
This sink is a total game changer with being able to utilize a bunch of different accessories to make prepping and washing dishes a breeze. The low divider in the double bowl is the perfect height for still being able to wash large dishes without obstruction while also providing a surface to rest heavy pots/pans on. This sink is one of my favorite things about our kitchen and I love that it's so easy to clean!

High Quality Sink
I absolutely love this sink. It is big enough to hold my my big pots. I can also cut up my fruits and veggies right there over the sink with the cutting board that fits right down on the edges and not have a mess on my counter. It really is a great workstation!

I love my new sink...we had a bit of trouble with the wrong sink be ordered. It was too shallow. We ordered the new sink and I love it. I love all the accessories. It makes my small kitchen so much easier to use. It looks beautiful! Im glad we were able to get the right sink installed and i look forward to learning more about the other accessories for the future. Kraus is awesome

Looks nice but
I love the look but the drainage is horrible...i waste so much water trying to get food to go into drain....it goes into opposite corners....would not have a drain in corner agaun.

Really nice, but...
In service five months:
1. Rust: Sorry, but It IS rust. I work with metal and certain grades of stainless steel can rust after welding. Indeed, the rust only appears along the welded corners, high up high where there's no mistaking it or anything other than what it is.
2. The bottom is not quite sloped enough. Water drains out okay but the flow is too slow to drag along food debris. Yes, the sink is perfectly level.
3. The "Kraus" name etched on the sink is offset 1/4" from center, hah.

This is not easy to install unless you already have...
This is not easy to install unless you already have an undermount sink- and apron front. I had to have cabinet maker retro fit mine and modify my cabinet doors.

Wish it had been MY FIRST SINK and would have never OWNED ANOTHER!
The Engineers who designed this sink had EVERYTHING possible added to their design. Like most households, we toss 99% in the Dishwasher. But the RACK that prevents scratches to it is WONDERFUL as is the HOLE above the Disposal Opening. LOVE THE ROLL OUT Dish Drainer and THE BUTCHER BLOCK Wich floats in the Tracks is a LIFE saver! KUDOS to YOU ALL ! BEST SINK MADE on EARTH!

Beautiful Sink but Disappointed
While this sink is very attractive to look at, it has a problem with rust like staining. I've never had a this kind of problem with a sink before.

discoloration. This is usually taken care of permanently with a stainless steel polish and/or cleaner when
used according to the directions of the cleaning product. Products such as Bar Keeper’s friend and a fine 3M Scotch Brite pad are both great options.

Practically designed and built to last
This really is the ultimate kitchen sink and is a joy and delight to use. The 2 tier tracking system creates great flexibility for both food preparation and washing and drying as you go. Some people may think they haven’t the space for such a large sink. On the contrary, the sink is a genuine space saver in which the majority of food preparation tasks can all be undertaken over the sink, reducing mess and making clearing up so much easier. I knew from the Kraus website this was a very well designed sink, in which the sliding cutting board and draining rack increase the available workspace in a small kitchen area. Discoloration after three weeks
While the sink design and accessories are great, the sink itself is discolored after only 3 weeks of use! My kitchen is not even finished yet and the sink is already a big disappointment.

Disappointed
The sink has been installed about 2 weeks and it is already scratched at the bottom. I don’t understand how stainless steel can scratch so easily. We have other stainless steel sinks and this has never happened. If there is a fix please let me know. Thanks.

Scratches are inevitable in any sink material, including stainless steel. These are merely usage scratches. Overtime, these scratches will become uniform with the sink's grain and blend into the overall finish of your sink with proper cleaning. Most minor scratches can be softened with a fine (white) 3M Scotch Brite pad, or 3M Scotch Brite Natural Fiber Non-Scratch Scour Pad, accompanied by a deep cleansing agent such as Bar Keepers Friend.

Cleaning
I love my Kraus sink. With that being said, I have to say that cleaning the sink grate is a real pain! It collects mold on the underside, within in 24 hours. I cook and use my sink a lot. The hardest thing I do is try to keep the sink grate clean. I use Bar Keeper's Friend to clean the sink and grate every evening, by morning the underside of the grate and the top, where the wires connect is moldy. It should not be this hard to take care of a sink that costs this much! I would only recommend it to someone who loves standing at the sink washing and drying the grate several times a day!

Absolutely love our new workstation.
If you love high functionality and practicality, you’ll love this sink. The shelf for the cutting board and rack make our kitchen island much more functional. The usable space on our kitchen island seems much bigger. Love the drain covers that hide all the muck. Love the quality. Sinks are noticeably deeper and take up more space under the sink. Given the more limited space it is worth paying your plumber to organize / tidy the water lines if the water lines under your sink are disorganized and consume a lot of space.
