If you do any type of setup with any type of tubing this torpedo level will make your work much faster and take the guesswork out of angle setup. Even with aluminum tubing the clamp on the end will hold the torpedo steady and in line with your work. This is really for pipe but it can be used on almost any project that needs specific angles. This tool is made out of a single extruded bar of aluminum that is finely machined then red anodized. The bottom of the torpedo has a rough end mill pass to roughen the surface for a slip fee surface. All the major angles are clearly marked on the front 30, 45 and 90 degrees. The 4 level vials are nice and large, this allows for very precise angles. The tool feels good in the hand and has the look of a super expensive torpedo level.

This is a really nice little level and is perfect for attaching to pipes to get the correct angle. The magnets hold it to the pipe securely but the set screw is a very handy addition. Its got levels for 30 degrees, 45 degrees, 90 degrees, and 180 degrees that are very easy to see. The billet frame is good and strong with no flexing and when the set screw is tightened down there is little to no movement. The small size makes this level pretty easy to fit in tighter spaces. I gave this a four out of five for only one reason and this is me being picky. I like the fluid inside the level to be more viscous. I find these are easier to work with, have less finicky movement, and are overall just better. In my opinion that's a feature that sets premium levels apart.

Nice compact level with multiple features. Good packaging (hard plastic) allows you to use it for storage. Good instructions shows you how to use the features. Has groove to lay on top of pipe/conduit or use magnetic side (3 magnets). Stays vertical with no problems. Bubbles for 0, 30, 45 & 90 degrees. Nice anodized coating. Made in PRC - (Peoples Republic of China). Includes hanging strap. I use this level when my 24" level is too long to fit or need to carry a lot of tools with me. Only negative is that you have to remove the thumb screw to use full length of groove. Did turn-a-round test and level is accurate.

High quality billet aluminum level. I have a bunch of levels, and generally work with longer length levels, but there are times when I need a smaller level. This is an exceptional level and you know that as soon as you hold it in your hand. I think you just come to appreciate tools crafted from billet aluminum. The design is really well thought out. The body of the level is milled and incorporates viewing windows so that you can see the vials from multiple sides. The magnets, recessed into one edge of the level are strong. There is a v-groove on the opposite edge for indexing pipes. I like the idea of being able to use a thumb screw to attach the level to the end of a pipe. I think magnets on the v-groove side would be a welcome addition as would be a scale to be able to use the level for measurement as well. All in all a great addition to the tool box.

Packaging titles this little Gem as the "Pipe Master". A very accurate description! three different angle bubbles. locking bolt, to lock directly on the end of a pipe. Very strong magnets. V groove so that it will settle on a pipe. at 6" long it is the perfect size to drop in your tool bag if you are either an electrician or plumber. also not a bad little package if you just want a compact high quality level for DIY

Nice little level. This 6 inch magnetic billet level with set screw comes in very handy. It is quality made and works on pretty much any project around the house you need. It can be used on a variety of project from plumbing to simply hanging pictures in your family room. I have nothing negative to say about this level. It has worked very well for us.

The level is loaded with features. Four vials provide information about 30, 45, 90, and of course, 180 degree angles. It is very well made, solid materials. Small enough for your pocket (or tool belt). I am NOT a plumber but as this level is made for that purpose, it also has features anyone working with metal pipe will value. For example, the flat base has three magnets to hold it to any iron/steel pipe. The opposite side is grooved and will 'rest' on any copper/plastic pipe. And for those plumbers who need to bend pipe (as well as electricians working with conduit), this level has a 'cut out' in its body and a set screw that allows the level to be attached to an open end (of pipe). Bending for a specific angle is no longer a guessing game. For my application (installing door/window casings) I could not take advantage of all the features above. ...except that the level was small, fit in my pocket and worked just fine to level boards, rosettes, and plinthsl. And for that job I found the set screw to be a bit annoying and 'in the way' because I was needing to reposition the level when I took it from my tool belt. It was an easy matter to remove the set screw, put it in the tool box, complete the job, and re-insert it when done. Bottom line, I really LIKE this tool!

Oh man...my tool belt is getting tight with gadgets now. This is now one of my favorite tools in the belt. It was extremely handy when I had to replace my FEBCO water pressure vacuum valve. I placed it on the PVC pipe and used the screw to hold and was able to get a vertical level without the help of a second person. The magnets on the level helped hold some screws while I leveled a cabinet before installing as well.

Magnetic Torpedo Level This is one solid product. The magnets are extremely strong and hold fast. The screw at the end allows you to firmly attach the level to the end of a pipe and it will give you the angle. The choices are level, 45 degrees, 30 degrees or 90 degrees. It has holes in the top that allow you to see the level, 45 degrees or 30 degrees from above. The 90 degrees must be viewed from the side. It is well machined and solid. It also has a V groove edge at 30 degrees and 45 degrees, which contours for pipes up to 10 inches for pipe edge rounding purposes. All in all a good, solid product.

This will help you when you are trying to do your level best. This level appears to be well made and has a lot of features to make it very useful. It is made from heavy gauge aluminum and has bubbles set at horizontal and vertical plus a 45 Degree and a 30 degree bubble . The 30 degree bubble will read true from horizontal to the bevel cut on the end of the tool that has the hanging strap, but the 45 degree bubble is in the same end does not read in the window. it would read true from a vertical surface though. The magnets are very strong and will hold the tool securely when plumbing up steel members. It's a good tool to have in the toolbox!
