As the title says, awesome vials. As a frequent user of levels the ability to easily and quickly view the vials is important. Rigidity as well. This has both. Kapro has a new customer. I picked up the 48" and will be replacing my other size levels with more Kapro products just because I like it that much. The only nit pick I have with it is I often lay my levels flat to draw straight lines and the rubber handle inserts stick out just a little (maybe a 1/16") on one side and is flush on the other. So when I use it as a straight edge laying flat I have to make sure it's on the flush side. This is just my one small nit pick. If I didn't double a level as a straight edge I wouldn't have any nit picks with it.

I was especially pleased with the ease in viewing the magnified vials. I was building a staircase in an area where the walls were thirty seven inches apart. This thirty six inch KAPRO Apollo fit the bill exactly. It was ideal for leveling the stair stringers prior to securing the steps. I don't know how I could have finished this project without it. Everywhere I looked, a thirty six inch level was not readily available in stock. The special order was filled quickly. In contrast, I plan to use this level for many years to come.

Much easier to use than my old levels. .

I needed a level which I could read on my trailer's floor in lo-light conditions while leveling it in a new parking place. This level is easy to read because of the magnification over the bubble. I highly recommend for RV usage as the body is cast and machined, not bend sheet metal like the cheap ones.

Great level for the price. Its well built, heavy wall, bumpers on the ends. Great for hanging doors.

Works well. Easy to use.

I like the useful 6.5ft length, comes very handy in plumbing studs for backer board. few things i disliked that it felt pretty flimsy, the handles face rubber grips that easily roll off and the center vial is not evaded in epoxy or resin, meaning that anything falls on that center vial and I'm sure it will pop.

I needed a 36 inch level and the Kapro delivered. It is a high quality level.

This level is very well made. Very sturdy with lots of advanced features. Price is a bargain for this quality.

Sorry to say I had to return this level. Now it is a jam level for installing doors for which it was spot on, but then I had a project where I was installing kitchen cabinets and I thought this would work really well for that, but that's when I discovered that in the horizontal position it was way off. I pretty much bought the level for installing doors, but just knowing that one of the features of it was off I couldn't keep it.

Very happy with the level, love the quality and the high visibility vile.

It was exactly as I expected, great quality, well made, and I love the magnified vials. I also purchased a 48" and a 24" they were also the same high quality, I was more that satisfied with the purchases

Well made. Rugged. Meets and exceeds expectations.

Purchased this several weeks ago and have really grown to like it. Solidly built and the bubbles are much easier to see compared to my other levels. Will be buying more of there products in the future.

handy and easy to use and read

A good level, lightweight, easy to grip, and easy to read. The 72" level part number shown online (-44X) does not match what is provided (-41X) and it has all-powder coated sides, with no milled faces.

Excellent quality and value. Length and plumb site make make it much easier to use.

This is a really nicely made level for the price. The bubbles are almost the same size as the space between the lines on the bubble vials making it very easy to determine where “level” is, unlike some of the other 24” levels which have bubbles that are too small.

Very good level at a very fare price. Also, very accurate. The magnified vials and plumb site make it very easy to use with excellent results. The manufacture should consider lowering the plumb site vile to make it easier for everyone to read. Also, it would be nice if Kapro would make hard and soft cases for all levels.

The marks vials are quick and easy to read and appear to be accurate. I would like the vertical vial to be a bit lower for easier reading. I've had this level for about 2 months. It does meet my expectations.

Just picked it up but I'm actually very Impressed--especially for the money. Grips are comfortable and the whole thing feels good in my hands. It's got a little heft to it and feels substantial. Magnifying vile and view from three sides there makes it real easy to see and although it's not sealed behind a lens, it's designed so it won't get any debris behind it. Dual view vile looks like it will be very useful and it and the third vile are both sealed behind lenses. All viles are non-adjustable and accurate. I bought the 36" model for general use but am thinking about getting a 48" for doors and other framing because of the value I'm seeing in the 36". Be sure to get model 985-41X-36 for $26 and not model 985-41X-36M for $35 because the appear to be the same level.
