I had no doubt that this stripper/crimper would strip just fine, but I was uncertain about how well it would crimp. I was pleased to discover that it crimps as well as it strips. I used this to completely rewire an outboard motor, and I'm currently using it to rewire our boat as well. It has made the job much easier to say the least. I'm thoroughly happy with this purchase. The plier tip is a nice feature as well for grasping smaller items or retrieving items from confined spaces.

I would like to return my tools and replace . It with the same brand. I have a dent on the the cutter side when I cut a solid wire.
