We really like this door knob. So much so that this is the fourth one we’ve purchased and now all our entry doors have them. The lever style handles make opening the doors easier when your hands are full (like carrying groceries in) or when you have restricted fine motor skills (due to arthritis or other limitations). We find Kwikset handles easier to install than many other brands, with smoother operation. All in all a good value for the price.

Best feature - I could re-key the locks to my existing house keys with the included tool, no locksmith required! It’s worth paying more for Kwikset. Very high quality. I’m replacing 30 year old units with these. Fit right in. Easy to follow instructions.

Good outdoor lock set, everything fit perfectly in steel flush door. Like the resettable key feature so I can make it the same as my other doors.

Installed three of the six that I ordered. on the first set installed, I had to retap the threads of the locks. The next two sets I had no issues. I have not tried the re-key feature.

Installed by our remodeling contractor in a new front door. Very easy to use, works smoothly and no problems so far. Plan to try the smart key function this weekend to make this key work with several other lock sets we purchased so we don't need 3 different keys to get in the house.

My new house needed to be brought into the current decade. I replaced a brass, round knob lockset with this. It certainly seams sturdy enough and really looks good. I really like the smart key feature on the Kwiksets.

This lock set was easy to install. I really like the SmartKey technology, which made rekeying the lock to my existing key. It took me 30 seconds to reset the lock to my existing key. The SmartKey technology allows the lock to be reset to non-Kwikset brand keys. As long as your key can be inserted completely into the key slot, the SmartKey feature will work.
