Right door pops open when left door is closed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased on 5/23/19. Everything seems to work OK except for the right door. If I open only the left door, remove something, then close the left door, the right door partially opens without any audible indications. This eventually causes the compressor to turn on which will reduce its lifetime. The fridge is level left to right and slightly inclined front to back.

Freezer stopped working!

However, a few of the drawers and drawer lids have detached, and were either difficult or impossible to put back on. And....now.....the freezer stopped working. It only gets down to 30 degrees. We are trying to get the warranty repair person to come, but they haven't shown up yet.

Great refrigerator!

We got a lemon unfortunately

The process to get a tech out was tedious and long and he fixed it - or so we thought. Turns out it had a really slow refrigerant leak. They ultimately are reimbursing us (at the now valued amount, which is fair) for the fridge so we can buy a new one. But it's been 3 months to get here and we're a big busy family. Not having a working fridge/freezer/ice maker is a hassle!

Dual Ice Makers is a plus

The spherical ice in the freezer only makes 3 cubes a day and they don't melt any slower than regular ice cubes, so that is just a marketing gimmick from LG. Two regular ice makers would be better. The LED lighting is bright and the indoor ice maker works well except for the occassional jam. Shelves are laid out nicely and are adjustable.

Love this fridge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned for over a year now (nov 2019) & am glad I chose this refrigerator. I researched many brands and models and settled on this one for the features/price. The only cons I can say: wish the freezer held a little more & the water dispenser tends to get stuck in the ON position causing water to spill everywhere. We have hard water and calcium build up around all water sources and this is no exception. However it’s hard to clean behind where you press for water. If this happens you have to open the fridge door, this causes the water to shut off, then select the “lock” option on the water dispenser door, then clean the area of the obstruction. This has happened to us about 3x; so we’ve decided to not use the water dispenser. We get ice from the bucket dispenser inside the freezer. Thankfully this model has both ice dispensers in the door and in the freezer. Make sure not to put magnets on the stainless steel or it will scratch. I’m still pleased with this purchase as it’s not the fridge fault we have hard water.

The central strip that flips into place to seal the two doors together gets out of step easily and whacks into the other door on occasions when closing. The icemaker often needs me to break up the ice that forms into a solid clump so we can actually get it to dispense some ice cubes.

An Unfortunate Purchase
We did a lot of research before buying this beautiful-looking refrigerator last December. It worked beautifully until August, at which time it began making a loud noise and within a day, everything inside had defrosted and was lost. Service said the compressor was bad, and after a month with no fridge, we had the compressor replaced under warranty. Then in October, the freezer stopped working and I began getting error codes. The evaporator coil had to be replaced. This is an undependable refrigerator. I am so disappointed.
