[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 18000 BTU is both a quiet AC and quite an AC. I have a living room size 25’x40’. It not only cools the living room but also the dining room. The dual inverter is amazing. This is the second unit that I purchased. I also got the 14000 BTU LG dual inverter AC for my bedroom. Both are quiet and attractive. The snow white color of the AC is very attractive and modern looking. LG has designed a very good unit. I refer all of my family members to purchase one. I would buy no other.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a house in July and it wasn't equipped with an air conditioner. We knew we had to do something since we were moving in the house in the dead of summer. I hired an electrician to come in and install the plug for a reasonable price. Be advised that the cord is a little short so make sure you keep that in mind when installing the plug. We are very satisfied with the cool air that this puts out! Our house is 1232 sq. ft. and it cools MOST of the house, except our bedroom that gets the most sun in the afternoon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace an older inefficient and loud GE. Have been running daily since day one. Love the IOS App. Almost never use the supplied remote. cools almost 900 sq ft with a vaulted 12 ft ceiling on Energy Saving mode and low fan. Have had quite a few 95+ degree days and no problems.

We are happy with the product. It is very quiet. The cover for the front is more appealing than most of the window units.

It quit working 2 weeks later, and though it took some time to get a repair man here, he did a good job and got it working again right away. I rated the air conditioner 5 stars, as we love it. This unit is very quiet, and energy efficient. Our problem was easily fixed, once they had someone available to work on it. Part of the electronic controls stopped working; the repairman just replaced the controls and we were in business again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] is less noisy ,can very amount of coolness to control temp , others run full blast ,electric bill cut in half after install , had a 25000 btu and this 18000 btu is much better , i like the remote and beeps it makes that can be heard easily , i dont think it uses start and run capacitors that can kill your air conditioner after 5 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an older air conditioner that worked but was quite loud, this new one was labeled quiet and the difference is amazing. It cools well and we no longer have to turn up the TV or speak loudly to each other when the air is on. I love it especially for the dehumidifying setting. Sometimes at night it gets cold outside but he humidity is still high, this feature allows the compressor to still come on and dry out the air. We liked it so much we bought another to cool the kitchen

This unit cools my entire house just put a high speed fan Infront of it and it’s all good. Remember this is a 240v unit but it’s worth it

Have had smaller cheaper window ac with not great results. We saved for a while to buy this ac. We are so happy with it. If we are not careful, it makes our living room too cold. Lol. It's so quiet and powerful, it is a dream. I didn't think I would need all the features it has, but use all of them. So happy with this purchase. It has been 2 months of running like a champ.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always trusted LG Technology and Quality. 18000 BTU air conditioners are normally loud and costly to run. Not this one!! The Dual Inverter is a game changer. Another LG appliance home run. BTW this unit replaced a 14 year old 18k LG.

I just began to use the new LG less than a week ago, so am still getting to know how to use the features. It is so much quieter than my old AC and I like the energy saver feature, so the cooling shuts down when the thermostat senses it has cooled the space, and every few minutes a quiet fan comes on to check if the room needs more cooling. I still have a lot to learn about this LG air conditioner.
