[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Geez I love my LG’z I know it’s about the dryer but the reason I bought the ldryer was the LG washer is such an awesome replacement of the washer that died I figured since the old dryer was same age I’d get the matching dryer Soooo happy I did! The dryer Is so efficient I get my laundry done in 1/2 the time. You will not be sorry with either units!!

I love this dryer it has a lot of features, and I don't have to iron my clothes or sheets because of the steam control features in the dryer. The best investment I ever did I love it.

So disappointed. After purchasing Whirlpool appliances my entire life I purchased the LG washer/dryer set because of the warranty offered by LG. After one month, I reached for paper towels in the cabinet above, one roll of paper towels landed on top of the dryer and to my surprise left a big dent. I couldn’t believe it, I expected so much more from a top of the line purchase. Customer service was useless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted this dryer mainly because of the large capacity and because it was available in a Gas-fueled model. A nice bonus on this model is how the door can be set to swing open DOWN or set to open from the side. Being Energy Star rated is also a plus. Like the washer, it was relatively easy to set up the WiFi connectivity- I'm pretty savvy with that sort of thing although some might find it troublesome. Four stars because there's always room for improvement on most anything.

I purchased a set of washer and dryer a two months ago and we are vary satistfied wth them. Their performance is outstanding. The cloths come out out of the washer very clean and almost dry. The dryer does a great job also. Their appearance is great. We made a good decision to buy them.

The top of the dryer was damaged the first week when kneeled against with one knee, while reaching in cabinet above it. I had my Maytag dryer for 20 years and one could stand on it with out any damage. I am most disappointed in the quality of the body for a top of the line product like this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this 7.3 cubic foot capacity dryer 3 months ago. I don’t do the laundry but I wouldn’t have a problem using this machine. It practically does all the thinking for you with programmed settings for different fabrics that can also be manually adjusted to your needs. If paired with the WT7800CW washer, it will set the dryer to the recommended settings automatically through a WiFi connection. This dryer does an excellent job preventing wrinkles. My wife has no complaints and neither do I. As the saying goes .... Happy Wife, Happy Life!

just installed five days ago and still have things to learn about the operations (like the Wi-Fi) but it seems to be the best dryer i have ever owned, just has a learning curve

This washer is HUGE! I get laundry done in about half the time as my old front load washing machine. The clothes come out cleaner than before too. Its quiet, looks pretty, and fits with room to spare in the laundry room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the gas dryer on the 2nd, and delivered on the 7th. I have dried all types of clothing so far. It’s not always easy to set the settings so the clothes aren’t damp, but I’m learning. The more you use the dryer, the more you become familiar. So far I am pleased with our purchase.

This LG Steamdryer with 7.3 cu. ft. of capacity replaces a dryer we have had for 13 years. It is amazing. We are not yet using the “SteamFresh” cycle option, but plan to do so when we replace our washer. The steam feature has to be connected to the water that goes to the washer. It will be great to cut down on wrinkles without having to use the iron all the time. This is a really sophisticated dryer but is as easy to use as our old dryer. It has preprogramed 14 drying cycles, including casual, heavy duty, bulky/bedding, cotton/normal, delicate, etc. that all come with default settings that you can change with a push of a button if you want. Once you pick your cycle selection, it automatically uses one of 5 temperature settings with one of 5 drying levels (very dry, more dry, normal dry, less dry, damp dry) depending on the fabric care instructions of what you are washing. Compared to our old dryer we do not even notice it running it is so quite. One other remarkable feature is that you can open the door two ways without rehanging the door. If you squeeze the release at the top of the door it open as a hamper door so that clothes don’t fall on the ground when unloading. If you simply pull on the door it opens as a regular swing door for loading wet clothes. It has “smart functions” that requires installing an app on your phone a Wi-Fi near the dryer. We are not using this feature yet.

Wow,,. this is one great dryer! This model has replaced a 24 year-old Whirlpool, which was on its last leg. My wife loves this dryer so far. The dual door-open design is genius. Opens from top-down for loading, and from the side for unloading. The door can be reconfigured (by the user) for left to right or right to left opening. Installation was easy for me, however if you're not familiar with installing gas and water line fittings, hire a pro. LG offered to install this one, but we weren't quite ready the day it was delivered so I told them I'd handle the install. Water and gas line hoses are included. You'll need a wrench, pliers, and plumbers tape. Let me say that is dryer is super quiet. Not sure how they have done it, but with a full load, it's super silent. Also, drying is efficient. There are loads and loads of different drying options, including sanitizing which uses steam to sanitize your clothes. My wife says she has zero complaints so far and the drying times are way faster than our older model. I will be interested to see if my gas bill goes down next month. One thing to note, is that this dryer senses the how dry the items are during the cycle and will automatically reduce the temperature as needed while drying (smart). If you're used to tumbling your [dry] clothes occasionally for a few minutes to get out the wrinkles (like we are), then it's best to use the "Speed Dry" or Steam Fresh Modes. We found that the other modes sense quickly that the items are already dry, so the heat is introduced only for a minute or two at the start, but then cools off quickly - which sometimes isn't long enough to get the wrinkles out. (Note; this is not a problem or issue at all with the dryer. Just make sure you use the correct mode for your drying/anti-wrinkle needs!). The main bin/drum has internal LED lighting - similar to what you would have in an oven. Brilliant!! All the controls are super easy to use and navigate, but when in doubt folks - read the manual. The Wifi is fairly easy to get setup if you are familiar with Smartphone App tech. This model sends a notification through the app when the cycle is through (if setup) and also has other features like additional "specialized" dryer modes, energy monitoring, and diagnostics. Amazing tech. I love it. If you're looking for a "smart" dryer, you can't beat this model. Also, LG has a great rep, so I'm looking forward to years of use.

We are very happy with the dryer, it has so many settings that you can choose from for any type of material you have. You can download additional settings using the Wi-Fi app as well as remote starting the dryer and getting notifications on your phone letting you know when your load is done. The steam features are a big plus to remove wrinkles, odors, and germs from your cloths. The size capacity of this dryer is enormous 7.3 cubic feet comforters fit without any problem we are able to wash and dry our whole bedding set at one time with this dryer and the matching washer. This is easy to use with the preset cycles so you do not have to be a tech to operate the dryer. More features, greater size, energy efficiency, steam cycles, we could not be happier with this dryer and look forward to having it for years to come.

Fantastic dryer. Large capacity, many great features! The hamper door and combination control pad led me to this dryer. Due to space in our laundry area, we've been looking for several years at newer models. The hamper door was the key. It opens 12 inches from the opening and can be used to load or unload. One of us is more old school, so adding dial controls for quick selection closed the deal. But the features continue... I ran a trial steam fresh cycle and the items came out smelling clean. Definitely useful for stuffed animals and bedding. Adding steam to your cycles supposedly will remove wrinkles. No reason to doubt them. The drum has large capacity for either larger loads or bedding. The ability to adjust the heat, time, or other settings provides flexibility. Wi-fi and app connected, thought I had a little trouble. You have to turn wi-fi on at the dryer, download the app, then add the dryer by turning on airplane mode, connecting to the dryer as your network (use the unique 4 characters twice), follow the prompt to add credentials, connect back to your network, and wait for 100% connection. Highly recommended dryer, especially if you have tight spaces. The hamper door alone is worth the purchase.

First time using a gas dryer after a lifetime of electric models. I must admit the speed of the heat is much faster than electric dryers. The sound (which is comfortably low) is pretty much the same as electric. I may never get tech-savvy enough to use the wi-fi gadgets. No matter as the manual control panel is very easy to navigate. All that is necessary is to push the power button, use the turn-knob to select the type of load, then push the start button. If you like things simple, this model will suit you well. The lights and sounds from the control panel even appeal to kids. The capacity size of this dryer is quite large and will handle items like king-size bedding with room to spare. We ran a few test loads and noticed that the clothes dried faster than the electric model. Gas is cheaper (at least where I live) than electricity, so a bit of savings on our utility bill is expected. Great appliance and certainly recommended!

But it’s very efficient and I love the Wi-Fi option of it. My favorite feature Hass to be that the door opens two ways. It’s so convenient when you just can flip it and load it Like having a front loading machine convenience with easy to load operation

Love the steam function for getting out all the wrinkles

We bought this gas dryer in December and it works well. You have 2 ways to open the door, which is a nice feature. What I think can be improved is the dryer feature for permanent press. I have to add minutes since my clothes do not seem to dry within the half hour allotted on the medium setting. Sometimes I will use the "Speed Dry" feature instead. The filter is easily accessible and easy to clean. The pair (washer and dryer) look great together too. We have the black stainless. Would definitely recommend this dryer.

So many features and time saved for my loads . Esp the permanent press cycle which i use all the time For my medical scrubs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went from using carol brady’s dryer to this top of the line machine. Took a little getting used to. Common issue is when there is a light load, the sensors cut the time down significantly and the clothes will not be dry. Avoid this by using “speed dry” which is totally customizable and the dryer will run for as long as you set it. Phone notifications through the LG app are a huge plus so you don’t forget about it.

I bought this TV in order to be able to have more choices of what to see through Google on my phone. More movies and OSU football. What else could a 86 year -old -person want? Judie Varnum

I love this dryer, it works amazingly..one little draw back is that I have to clean out lint every time.

Bought the LG dryer a few months ago. Drys clothes fast and the app feature is fun it lets you know when it's finished just in case I didn't hear the buzzer go off.
