This outdoor cover is very high quality and appears to be more durable than any of the others on the market. Easy to install with many options for various outlets, single, duplex, and GFCI. Cover closes and latches easily and securely, with the abillity to use a padlock. Plus, the color almost perfectly matches my building! And the gasket supplied is thick enough to accommodate the small rib in metal siding.

This is a heavy duty cover (available in horizontal or vertical). I've used several different types of raintight covers over the decades and this one is the best. The reason this cover is better is that it mounts to the wall via the two screws that hold the electrical outlet to the outlet box. This is the most secure mounting method, versus other covers that simply use the center outlet screw (the one that holds an interior outlet cover plate to the outlet). The rubber/foam that keeps water out is wider than most affording better protection. In the instances where an electrical cord will be left plugged into the covered outlet, there are two holes at the base for their passage; if not used, there are two small inserts that cover these openings totally. There are two inserts provided for the type of electrical outlet you have. Different colors and a clear version are available.

Looks great, easy to install, and comes with all of the needed hardware. The design allows for 16 gauge extension cords or self-corded appliances/tools to be plugged into the receptacle and have the cover closed to keep moisture out. Would recommend to anyone.

while in the literature it was stated this product was for hot tubs and spas, someone forgot some come equipped with ground fault interrupt built into the plug. As constructed the plug would not fit. A little modification was required. Now it works fine.

Worked perfectly. Super easy install. Looks nicer than seeing the exposed outlets and protects the cords that are plugged in.

The receptacle piece would not stay locked into place. The design should've allowed for the receptacle piece to be inserted in the front instead of the rear because even with the receptacle screwed in, you could still pull the compartment off. I improvised by inserting it through the front with the side which says "face the wall" turned around to face away from the wall which is why I didn't return it. Also, the design should've allowed for a screw in the middle of the 2 socket piece, but I improvised by drilling a small hole through the middle of it which is another reason why I didn't return it. Now it's working like I want it too. So far, no water penetration. I would not recommend as designed.
