After using this air purifier for a month, I must say I didn't realize how much crud was in the air in our clean house. The amount of dust, pollen, and other nasty stuff that is trapped by the collector requires a weekly cleaning at a minimum! The UV light kills viruses and bacteria before they are trapped on the collector. The term "air purifier" really does apply to this device! I know that we will have a healthier home because of this!

As an "air purifier" the LifeAir IonFlow purifier has attractive looking unit. A sort of futuristic styling with LED lighting that illuminates the IonFlow clear base. A neat looking affect in a dark room. The base lighting can be turned on or off while keeping the purifier power on. It is very quiet so having it in our bedroom has not been an issue although the small LED light on top (purifier power light) does cast a dim blue color on the ceiling - this has not bothered us. Because there are no filters or fan it is hard to tell if the IonFlow is doing anything. Any work IonFlow does is invisible to the naked eye. Although it should collect negatively charged particles on the positively charged collector. After a almost a month of operation our collector is still mostly clean. It is however, positively charged as we found by the gentle shock you get when touching the collector. IonFlow includes as an option a collector grill that is a bugger to assemble. This grill is to help avoid direct contact to the positively charged collector. The collector can produce a small static like shock. The IonFlow out of the box requires a simple assembly of plugging the Ion generator into the clear plastic base and then plugging in the included power supply and switch. The switch operates 3 functions; Ion generator and LED base light ON, Ion generator ON base LED light OFF, and all OFF. The included instructions are very lacking. No real guidance or information on operation and features except to keep the IonFlow at least 3 feet from walls and furniture (due to it could collect dust particles on adjacent objects surfaces). The manual also lacks instructions on assembly of the collector grill. Pros: - supposedly killing pollutants that carry mold, viruses and bacteria that are invisible to the eye - no filter to purchase or clean - no fan to make noise so it can be set in a bedroom Cons: - lacking of good assembly and operation instructions - difficult to assemble the collector grill and no instructions on how to assemble - although it states it can go on a side table or desk, but at nearly 2 feet tall it stands out too much

Top of the line ionizer. It definitely clears the air! It's a sizeable tower, so plan where you want to station it. Also, the direction s are overwhelming at first because the direction book is so big. Then you realize it's offering directions in dozens of languages. I take this as a testament to the product's reputation and reach. Once you get into your language section, you find the directions are brief (maybe could actually be a bit more detailed). Once assembled, the product works quickly and easily. Occasional noises as it does it's job. But soft white noise. Pleasant. The gentle blue light is also peaceful. We have an old home, so this functions great (helpful!). The look is very modern (Scandinavian vibe). Not heavy-easy to move from 1 room to another.

This is very interesting concepts of air purifier. This eliminated the biggest issue with the air purifier. Filters. I use lots of different air purifiers but filter is always the issue. There are some that uses washables but still has to take care of it. Instead, this product does not have filter at all. Just need to do quick wash on the metal plate. It is smaller than I imagined. No noises. Has little decorative blue light, you can turn this off if you wish to. So far this is the best air purifier I ever used.

The Ionflow evolution air purifier cleans the air and it's also a great looking product. There are four blue lights shining down through the cylindrical translucent chamber that is pretty and modern looking. This unit is small and can be placed on the floor or on a flat surface with about three feet of air space around. There is almost no sound, just a slight cracking sound near the collector that attracts particles from the air. There are three needles at the top that generate the ions that are attached to particles in the air which are then collected on the cylindrical collector. The collector is easy to clean and there are no other filters to clean or replace besides the three needles for which a small brush is provided. Maintenance is simple and cost nothing more. I am using the fins, which needs assembly, around the collector because of the static electricity around the collector. This unit layout and assembly is at the back of the manual after all the different languages.

My boyfriend and I bought this unit two months ago and we are so happy that with it. We use it in our bedroom. I have owned many air purifiers over the years and this one is by far the best. We like the design and most important it is so quiet.
