Wow, this welds so much smoother than my old Lincoln weldpack. I have only used it for mig, and with Flux core wire, but I am impressed. Highly recommend. I can't wait to try out the tig function.

I surprised my boyfriend with this for Christmas. He is a fabricator of 12 years by trade. He says it is easy to set up, very quiet. For being a home hobbiest machine it is a heavily constructed welder. It has far less plastic components compared to other machines at this price range. All equipment that comes with it makes this welder a great purchase. The MIG process works fantastic. He did purchase a 80 cu ft tank of 75/25 and is making me an awesome bookshelf. He is very excited to try the other processes the welder has to offer. It is a 4 star rating since he has only tried the MIG process thus far. This welder definitely met his expectations. No dislikes so far!!

I was happy to see that there was no damage to the welder when I received it. After opening the box I could see it was packaged very well. It looks like a very nice welder for jobs at home. There are a lot of options with this welder. The instruction book has a lot of good information in it. It didn't take long to put it together. It stick welds, it does MIG (I need to go out & buy a bottle of Argon) & it TIG welds but I have to buy the foot pedal & the tig torch. The adjustment knobs on the welder are easy to read. Inside the cover where I installed to wire it has a really good diagram for setting up the welder. I will get many years of enjoyment out of this welder.
