Bought this kit and home depot doesn't even have a bottle swap program to exchange the bottles. The only place that does is a welding supply. So if you have a job that doesn't work on the weekends you have to take off during work to fill the bottles.

Torch works great! Tanks need to be exchanged or filled and my gas location took them with no issues.

Good for quick short term work. But expect about and hour or so worth of cutting to run out of fuel. Better off just going full size if possible.

The torch was easy to assemble, easy to carry carry and stored

Exactly what I needed to complete my projects.

This is a nice kit which allows you to carry it easily. The small cylinders can be exchanged at Tractor Supply and probably others, but it seemed a shame to give away the lovely new ones for a pair that have been through a war. I kept the new ones and hope to find a place in a bigger city that will fill mine.

Literally just waited in store for over an hour and a half waiting on someone to unlock the security lock on a torch kit after talking to 4 different employees. Finally left and went next door to Lowe’s and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Home Depot if you don’t wanna unlock stuff then just tell me so You don’t waste my time

Have to buy a separate tank so what's the point? Shop won't fill it. Quite disappointed

The only issue I encountered was where to get the oxygen and acetylene gases.

Worked well, seems well designed with quality components. No problem getting tanks filled. Used it to braze copper HVAC tubing.

Great torch set up for the DIY'er.

Great little torch set. Used it to cut some bolts and a 1/4 metal plate. Just be ready to say goodbye to the brand new shiny gas bottles when you get them filled (exchanged for full ones). That’s not unique to this torch though. Good torch doesn’t the job

I loved the torch set, works great and was reasonably priced. My real and only complaint lies with the information on the box. It clearly states ready to cut and weld. I brought this home, I bought it because I had started pulling ball joints off my truck and realized I needed torches. Bought this at home depot brought it home put together no gas in tanks. So it is clearly NOT ready to cut or weld, it should not say this on the box. Had it said ready to use after tanks filled i would've given it a 5. Petty maybe but true

The design of the tote could be improved. Current iteration has too little space for accessories.

Clearly, when the majority of people go to make this kind of purchase, it’s because you have a NEED for it. And since they have to walk you strait to the counter with it, that doesn’t give you much time to read on the box. A quick mention the tanks are empty by the worker who unlocked it would have been a huge time saver. I wished I would have read the reviews prior & I would have found out the tanks are empty, we could have went across the street to have them filled immediately. But, since we had extinguished every other option on our project, running to town for a portable torch set was the next option & didn't leave me much research time. It would have saved us fuel, mileage & time if we had known. And getting acetylene tanks filled isn’t a thing that every hardware store does. Can’t wait to try it, looks like a fantastic little unit.

I am very pleased with the Torch, it is a very high quality Harris Torch. I noticed a few of the Negative reviews stated the Tanks are Empty, That is true the Tanks are Empty, It say’s so right on the Box in 2 Different places, you have to trade these New tanks in for Full Tanks
