This Vision Smart lock has almost everything one would want in a smart lock. It is easy to install - took me only 15 minutes from start to finish to replace the standard deadbolt that was in the door. It took me less than 5 minutes to interface it with our Wi-Fi system. All in all the installation is very intuitive. The security of the lock seems to be trend setting with its changing finger pad. It looks great and has a sturdy feel to the parts. The only cons I could find are that it does not sense the presence of a person at the lock and send an alert or start the video automatically, and the PC portal does not currently support video as the iPhone application does.

We bought this lock in black to add to our 8ft black steel door. It looks great! The best features in my opinion are the video option and the multiple codes. We are doing a remodel on our house at the moment and it’s nice to set different codes for different contractors and to be able to get on the app and see what’s going on outside. I like that it is has a door bell as well and we don’t have to install that separately. Also, the fingerprint access is very helpful for our younger son who has a hard time remembering the long lock code we have set. If you’ve been on the fence about purchasing this LOCKLY product I suggest that you just go ahead and get it!

Bought lock recently and helping me lot, When any contractor comes to home then I have to go and unlock home for them, with this great product and camera view I can unlock from many where.

I am absolutely amazed by the features of this lock. Even though when I bought it I knew what it looked like, when I finished installed it, I was still surprised how good it actually looks. The app is very easy to use. I like the fingerprint and guest password, which are so convenient. I also have to mention that I have got a lot of help from Ron, the customer support with Lockly. I was stuck on both the lock installation and wifi setup. Ron guided me through each step and gave me a lot of instruction on how to use it after it was done. I would say I couldn't have made it for the whole setup without him. I really appreciate it! I would recommend it to anyone who needs a smart lock because of the professionalism and personality that Ron has in addition to its amazing features.

I recently moved to a new neighborhood and was in the market to replace the lock on the door. After considering many different options, I narrowed my choice to three options. At the end, I decided to go with Lockly Vision, because I just couldn’t pass up the features it carries. With the other options, I had to add an extra doorbell camera. With Lockly Vision, it is already included! After about a month of use, I couldn’t be happier with my choice. My family’s favorite is the use of their fingerprint to unlock the door. The pin genie is a close second. We haven’t even used the key at all! I am also able to use the app on my phone to check the status of the door - whether or not it’s locked - along with the live video feed when someone rings the doorbell on the Lockly Vision. One drawback for me is the fact that that is the only way to activate the camera. I would like to be able to activate the camera without having someone ring the doorbell first. But overall, my family and I are very satisfied with Lockly Vision, and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a lock that not only looks great, but also has many features to back up the look!

I have owned other keypad locks and the buttons have worn out to the point where you can tell what numbers have been repeatedly punched and someone could easily watch you enter your code. I have also had WIFI enabled locks that connect to your phone or fob to lock/unlock the door but have never been reliable enough to ditch my keys. This lock solves those problems. I now have no worries about leaving the house without my keys. Packed with Features: In my opinion the best part about the lock is the fingerprint scanner. It stores up to 100 fingerprints and works quickly and consistently. The second option is using your code on the touch screen which is also very responsive and has two options for settings. One where the numbers move after each touch (safer but a little slow to enter your code) and one where the numbers only move each time you use it. Third option is locking/unlocking through WIFI using the Lockly app. Fourth option is the key that comes with the lock. And a fifth option, if you are inside your house, is to use Alexa to control your lock. The app works well and has many functions such as: adjusting lock settings, monitoring battery status, and managing access (permanent codes, fingerprints, temporary E-badges, and temporary access codes) You can also view video and manage the storage which backs up to an included SD card. The camera is the one area where the lock could use some improvement. It is clear in the daylight, but fairly grainy at night. The camera is only triggered by someone tampering with the lock or ringing the built in doorbell (which is sufficiently loud inside the house). But I was surprised there was no motion sensor. Also, the camera is mounted at an upward angle, which is great for looking at someone standing directly in front of it, but I have steps leading up to my door so it doesn't work out so well (see attached screenshot). It does have a wide angle lens so I don't see the need for the upward angle. It would help for it to be mounted level or adjustable to account for different situations. One other cool feature is the switch on the inside of the door that disables the keypad (see green dot on interior image attached). When you unlock the door to exit it automatically flips the switch and reactivates the keypad. Installation: The lock was very easy to install and all the components feel premium. It took me about an hour from start to finish and I was taking my time. It comes with paper instructions but also includes directions to access a 3D installation manual through the BILT app on your phone or tablet, which I really liked. It came with two different size plates for the door side but only one size (larger) for the frame side. The smaller one fit the existing cut out on my door and frame so on the frame side I just left the existing plate which worked fine. The only thing I didn't like about the install was that the upper part of the lock (inside and out) and the open/close sensor is attached to the door with a double sided tape. This is concerning because the tape was custom shaped and pre installed on the lock so I wonder how it is going to work if I ever want to move the lock to another door. This lock also comes with the WIFI hub that is needed to connect it to the internet and allow you to control and adjust settings from your phone. The setup was simple. I did have a few connection errors when setting up my keypad code but after a few tries it worked and I have had no problems since. Definitely recommend this lock!!

I did not download the app to install as it came with printed directions for installation that were more than acceptable. The only thing that I had an issue with during the installation was the final adjustment of the deadbolt to make sure that it moved freely. I installed the lock in the deadbolt hole and there seemed to be this odd clicking noise before I put the batteries in and it did not seem to have a smooth feeling when using the handle for the deadbolt. I decided to put the batteries in and the lock must have done some self calibration and bam it moved freely and easily into the deadbolt hole. I also like the door sensor capability. It is optional to install the sensor but you loose some of the locks functionality like being able to tell if the door is actually open or closed if you do not install it. I just dremmeled out a little channel in my woodwork to nest out a pocket for the door sensor switch. You will need to download the app to get access to all the features and set up the lock. You can view the videos that the lock has taken through the app and set up your preferences. I have not found a feature for motion sensing to start taking the video, but it automatically takes video is someone rings the doorbell or tries to access the key hole. The fingerprint reader is nice when I go for walks around town as I no longer need to take keys with me on my way out and it will automatically lock behind me. When the lock arrived in the mail it was in a heavy box and everything was packaged very well with absolutely no damage. If you have a screen door ensure that the lock side facing the screen door has clearance with the door handle or you may damage the lock when all the doors are closed. I am very pleased with this lock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lock is a Beast! This lock replace my only security lock with touch pad. This lock was pretty easy to install it took about 45 minutes. I love the features it has with the App for your phone and it has a doorbell ringer and a camera. On the app you get notifications to see who’s at the door and you can unlock and lock from your phone. You also can Have Alexa lock and unlock the door too. I like the digital touch pad only thing about it is you have to tap pretty hard to turn on . The best features on this lock is the Fingerprint scan and the Auto lock sensor!! If you forget to lock the door. The sensor has a timer and will lock itself and you can change the timer on the app. This lock is by far the best and I am super happy with it!.

I used the easy step-by-step interactive 3D app to help install this as I was a little concerned with all the parts to install this. It was very easy with the app and all the other start guides/manuals that came with this product. I had it up and running within a few hours without any issues. This is a high quality product as it’s built to last. I tested out all the features but I love the finger key and the 2 way audio. The 2 way audio is fantastic as I don’t have to answer the door for telemarketers! The mobile app is very easy to use too as you can unlock, lock, and check your door status anytime. This is great for contractors working on the house or family that is visiting. No more leaving a key under a rock!! I hooked it up easily with Alexa as that was very easy too. Overall I’m so happy with this product. Great product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock has pretty much anything that you are looking for. - First its a replacement lock - so if you don't have a deadbolt - this works since its all in one. - Second It has a camera built right in - the angle is a touch odd but its because it is aimed at getting a picture of the person and not the surrounding area - Third - various ways to unlock the lock - you have the touchpad which generates a different pattern each time for your number, you have your fingerprint which works well, you can unlock via the app and finally you can use a old fashion key - Fourth - has guest passes that work without a person downloading the full app which is nice for visitors - Fifth -Has a sensor to tell you if the door is open and if the lock is jammed Overall this lock is great. The install is one of the best I've seen - they use another app called Bilt which has SUPER detailed steps and videos on how to get it installed. It was great. Only one step was a touch off but was easy to figure out. The app is nice as well and has a number of updates so far. Cons - only a few - The auto lock is solely based on time since open - there is no option to say lock the door at 9pm - seems like a missed opp - fingerprint scanning is a bit finicky - takes a few tries to nail it - batteries - due to the video ability it takes 8 AA batteries to run this - EIGHT - batteries - requires a screwdriver to get the batteries out - cost - it is pricey BUT it does so much - its a doorbell, auto lock and video camera - so like 2 in one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lock system is incredible! Installation was surprisingly easy. Once set up, I was easily able to connect to my network and set up my profile. I'm able to lock/unlock the door from my phone. I also get text alerts when the door is manually lock/unlocked. Other features are the video capture at the tap of a button. The 30 second video is stored for review at a later date. Overall, I am very impressed with the system and love the brushed nickle finish. I would highly recommend.

The interactive setup instructions were very clear, and the installation was very straightforward. It did help to place the hub closer to the lock (within 50 ft range per instructions). The lock can be operated manually and unlocked with a key (included) if needed. It is really nice to be able to monitor and control the lock via the app, and the video integration is also a great feature!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock has far exceeded my expectations! We had a keypad lock we enjoyed prior to getting the LOCKLY Vision. Now after installing and using the LOCKLY, our old keypad lock seems like a dinosaur! The LOCKLY installation using the 3D BILT app was by far the easiest “can’t mess this up” instructions I have ever used. They are very clear, precise, and you can even zoom in and rotate the parts and also select a part to get more info on its identity and functionality. It took me a little over a half hour to install but that was due to taking out the old deadbolt keypad before installing the LOCKLY. I also felt like I went slower because it was that easy to install, I felt I was missing something! The packaging and presentation is nice, the Instructions and user manual are a nice supplement also. once the lock is installed, the programming portion of installation follows. Setting up the hub on our WiFi, programming the code, fingerprints, and settings were a breeze. I played with the thing for an hour with all the amazing features within the software. The camera and two way talk is a great feature. I can see this being the go-to lock for rental properties and vacation homes. The options to send temporary codes For visitors, ability to lock and unlock from wherever you are in the world, peace of mind, let the dog walker in when they arrive, the options seem endless for what a lock is capable of! Oh and it is a doorbell too! The volume carries throughout most of the house and you also get a notification! So you tap the notIfication and automatically are on live video and voice with the visitor. The only thing I am curious about is if the video would record and store on the hub microSD from motion, and not just when the doorbell is pushed or keypad tampered with. This may be an option in setting that I just haven’t found yet. Anyhow, the LOCKLY Vision is a must have for every household, great for households with children knowing when they arrive home safely, rental properties, businesses, etc. I highly recommend this outstanding product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well it looks like I have a main door lock that has all the features that I can think of!! Smart touchscreen keypad, app notification with live video and 2 way notification, video recording on door access, smart speaker control/home automation capability, offline access keys, fingerprint reader, and good old physical key access! Still hard to believe that this is made possible in a single elegant product that was easily install-able in the old style deadbolt. Setup/Installation: The manual/guide was very easy to follow. The only hardware tool that I had to use to replace and install this product was a screwdriver. There are some key steps to follow during the installation so highly recommended to follow according to the manual, although it is tempting to just go at it based on the product design and intuition. Usage: The non standard (PIN Genie touchscreen) keypad might seem a bit complicated at first, but I and my guests got used to it within first couple of attempts. It is definitely more secure than the normal keypad. The finger print access for frequent users provides the ultimate ease of use. The app notification and audio/videa quality is amazing as well and the door lock/unlock response time via the app is pretty real time. Additional features: The product comes with a wifi hub to connect the lock to the web and enable control via app. I have android OS and the setup was very quick. The app allowed me to choose/update default settings...like auto-lock feature, notification settings, etc. Overall I am very please with the lock. With all the added features, it is also an elegant product that modernizes the way to the home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to replace the current lock with a smart lock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation of the lockly vision was pretty simple, only 6 screws, and you’re done. The only part I had an issue with was programming it for the right hand side of the door. I followed the directions about placing 3 batteries, then holding the program button, then installing the 4th battery, and let go. It didn’t work until I held the program button in before placing any batteries. They give you extra parts, which is really nice. Now to the good stuff. This lock is nothing short of amazing!! The fingerprint scanner works flawlessly, we even tried tricking it, but it would not open unless you placed the finger you originally scanned. The pin code is any number you would like between 6-8 digits. There are only 4 circles with numbers in it, but they change each time you unlock the door, which is great so people can’t follow patterns. It can also unlock from your phone which is useful if your hands are full, so you can unlock it as soon as you get out of your car. The 4th option is Alexa, which we haven’t used yet. And finally a key, in case the battery dies. On the app, it tells you the percentage of battery life, so you will know when to change it before the batteries die. The camera is a very good quality, the only flaw though is if your storm door has a wider frame like mine does. You can’t see who is at the door unless they are holding the storm door open. This isn’t too big of a deal though. I think my favorite feature is the automatic lock. We have 2 teenagers that forget to lock the door behind them a lot, but you can choose to set an automatic lock in different intervals, we chose 30 seconds. Last but not least, the app lets you know if the door is locked or not, that way you can have a piece of mind when you are not home, knowing that your house is secure. I am very satisfied and quite amazed with the lockly vision!!!

Install was also easy to follow with step by step video instructions. Downloading the app and connecting was a little more involved and less intuitive, but after a few minutes I was up and running. Plus it looks really high end!!

Month back purchase.. replace my kevo Smart lock which I have been using for 10 yrs..

I have had this for a few years and love the features. I use the biometric to open the doors and gave a key to my neighbor to look in on my cat while away for the weekend. It records if it detects unusual activity, like someone using a key to open. Just tap the screen to lock and walk away. With the app I am never locked out, even if the fingerprint feature malfunctions.

Lock works perfectly so many features to choose from the camera is very clear high-quality craftsmanship on this lock would recommend to anybody

This purchase was a great move. Only sad part was someone removed part of my magnet to that allows the lock to auto detect closure and open of the door. But lockly provided great support in allowing me to get that replaced.

I bought this a month ago and I am very happy with this product. This lock comes with a video feature which is great to monitor whoever is at the front door. It has a doorbell feature which is great so you do not need a secondary doorbell. The Lockly app works great and provides all the features you need to control the lock. Overally it is a great smart lock and would highly recommend.
