It will work for household and automotive applications. It works on a variety of surfaces and is able to be repositioned prior to it drying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this cause I thought it would be easier to use then regular glue. It does work you spray it on wait 5 mins and then stick together whatever it is your fixing. It holds very well. The only thing is this is somthing you have to do outside you want to place something underneath as your spraying. It does have a very strong odor and if your not careful where you spray and can get on you or stuff that you dont mean to get it on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m loving my Loctite High Performance spray adhesive. It’s so easy to use. Simply spray on your desired area and adhere to the surface. I love using spray adhesive when I’m covering things like the back of a piece of furniture or when I’m doing one of my many diy projects. Remember a little goes a long way. You may also have to let dry for 24 hours after using the spray to ensure that it’s dry before painting. Overall, I’m very happy with the performance of this product and definitely recommend!

I have not used a spray adhesive before. I didn't know what to use it on. I was concerned about it being an adhesive being delivered by aerosol spray. I tested it by cutting the top of a tissue box at the corners so I could glue the sections to the inside of the box. Shake well before using!!! The first thing I learned is to cover the work area with plenty of paper. The overspray has to be removed with a solvent. The second thing I learned is that the spray covers a lot of area, can puddle up and stays tacky for a long time. I sprayed the inside of the box, stuck the flaps down but the whole inside was covered with adhesive. That was two days ago and the uncovered inside is still tacky and the flaps flip up but will restick when I press them down. . I am not sure if it is the products fault or I am just not using it right. I am excited to keep trying to find where, when and how to use this product. HDX makes good products so I think practice will make perfect.

I had some wallpaper that was coming down. Steam in the kitchen and it had been up many years; the self stick wallpaper just gave up sticking. I sprayed the wallpaper that was loose and pressed it back up. It stuck immediately and it has stayed up. It was so easy to use that I will use it on my scrap books and collages and other light weight adhesive jobs.

In common with similar products...the solvents and propellants in the adhesive are extremely flammable and not good for prolonged skin contact. Assuming you have an outdoor work area or one with good ventilation (and rubber gloves), this product will not disappoint, though it may not be suitable for use by children unless supervised by an adult. As long as the nozzle is oriented as instructed (to align with the black dot on the can) and you have cleaned the nozzle in between uses with the obligatory upside down "spray till it comes clear" cleaning, the spray pattern is uniform and permits a relatively light application when you are looking for a temporary application (or using light material, like the paper to cardboard mount illustrated in the pix), while facilitating building up the coating layer, for more permanent attachment (or really porous material). Especially good for mounting prints to cardboard or foam core, with a light application of adhesive, the piece to be mounted doesn't curl up and make handling a chore. As a test of a more permanent attachment, I glued together two pieces of closed cell foam (see photo). With a moderate application to each piece and allowing for it to tack-up, when pressed together and allowed to dry, the attachment is quite permanent.

The 13.5 FL. OZ. MULTI PURPOSE SPRAY ADHESIVE Is so easy to use! The spray dries very quickly after it evenly sprays leaving a nice light coat - I used it on some home crafting projects where hot glue and super glue were too hard to spread thin and even. You can use for a variety of needs around the house - inside and out - but spray in well ventilated room

I have used this product on a couple of construction projects and for several craft type projects. I have found the HDX spray adhesive to work as well as other spray adhesives, some of which are more expensive. I used the spray adhesive to adhere oak veneer banding to the edge of some shelving and it was easy to position and gripped well. I used it to connect metal to metal as you can see in the picture of the metal fish wall hanger below. I sprayed the back of the metal pieces, waited and then sprayed them again and joined them. The pieces are securely fastened together. I also used the spray to attach the felt onto the back of that piece with one quick coat. I used the spray to coat a switch cover and then place a foil coffee label over it as you can see in the pic below. This is a product with lots of uses and is a good value. I'm typically a little wary of buying the lower cost option however we decided to try the HDX brand spray adhesive instead of the 3M variant and we were very pleased with the results. We wanted a solid bond and if you spray both surfaces and let it dry for a few minutes before putting the two surfaces together, the bond is very strong and it stays put. In our case, we were sticking some faux cow hide fabric to some drawer fronts for an upcycled chest of drawers. The bond is very strong if you spray both sides, so it was critical that we got the fabric properly aligned with the drawer front before letting the two surfaces come into contact with each other. Once put together, the fabric followed the form of the wood very closely including the chamfered edges of the wood and we were very pleased with the results. When the fabric was folded over the edge of the drawer front and stuck onto the inside edge of the drawer front, we also found it adhered very well despite having only about 1/4"-3/8" of mating surface. In our case, we got great results and we wouldn't hesitate to use it again.

This is a great product. Its easy to use. I used it on an old table that the top was bad. So I wanted to cover the top in black satin. Using this product it came out great. The Lamp shades were purchased at the Salvation Army thrift store. I recovered them with fabric. It was easy. I would advice to do it outside or at least cover the surrounding furniture. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Use this adhesive to install 6 mil plastic whether for vapor barriers in crawlspaces or containment on mold jobs.

Spray Adhesive (High Performance) is a great adhesive that will ensure your projects are durable and strong!

I use this to adhere vinyl wraps to bean bag boards I make for my clients. The adhesive on the vinyl wraps tends to let loose in warmer temperatures. I started to use this spray adhesive when it was recommended by a friend and I have not had a single wrap let loose since.

This adhesive is incredibly strong and reliable. It keeps everything firmly in place without any issues

Label says ok on foam? Not styrofoam! Ruined my project.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loctite has become my favorite grab and go item before embarking in my numerous crafting projects and simple DIYs around the house. It is without a doubt a crafters best friend. It bonds relatively quickly (about 5 minutes!), and it even allows for repositioning if needed. My favorite use for it is when applying floors and wallpaper to my dollhouses (scrapbooking paper) because it does not leave any air bubbles that might disturb the final look. I can also use it with photographs since it will not damage it (acid free!). Also, it does not leave that horrible yellow residue that other bonding agents tend to leave. I always use it in well ventilated areas, and away from my children.

My husband used this for a home project with putting vinyl floor in the mud room. It held tight and the floor layer perfect. The spray works great when you need an even layer over a large area.

The nozzle jammed up and I wasn't able to use half of the can

It is pretty simple to use. and it works like a charm. you can use it on almost anything except cardboard. That is one thing it does not work on. If you get it on your hand it is very sticky. But it is also a pain to get off. I had to wash my hands a few times to get it off.

This brand is amazing and always delivers what it promises. The Loctite Spray Adhesive is very high performance and definitely high quality! The best part is while working on a project with dark colors, the spray dries CLEAR! Through the project we did, the spray adhesive stuck and did not fall apart.

I do a lot of craft projects and this works great keeping my stencils from shifting while I'm working as well as easily bonding my other projects together permanently. Loctite works great, has already saved me a lot of time and ended past frustrations by keeping my work in place. I'm so glad I tried it and it will now hold a permanent place in my supplies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Loctite 200 High Performance Spray Adhesive is undoubtedly the best spray adhesive I have tried. It sprays evenly and seamlessly. Additionally, it can be used on most materials- even leather and glass. I have even used it when doing arts and crafts with my kids. It dries super fast, which is a huge plus. Sometimes I cover the surrounding area if I don’t want to risk getting adhesive on it. My husband used it on our car and it actually made the area shine! This is easy to use, super efficient, and the best around! Five stars all the way!

The can says to wait 15 mins for full tack, I waited slightly less than that and then tried to stick some soundproofing material to the metal body of my truck. Stuff sticks right away and so far is holding up. I'm skeptical of long term performance with changing temps in my truck...we'll see. Was kinda hard to spray if the can was not perfectly level.

The bottle is very big size that lasts a long time. The nozzle allows the flow to stay steady and does not get sticky after multiple uses. I am a crafter so I use a lot of cardstock, vinyl, canvas, ribbons, papers of all kinds and so far everything has stuck strong and not came apart. It does not run after applying and has a good clean scent.
